Oh my goodness!!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks "Caitlyn" is too young for a 65 year old person! That's the first thing I thought when I saw the photo... "She's no 'Caitlyn'." LOL!

I saw the by-line of an article (I didn't read the article & can't remember where I saw it, so I can't link it. Seriously, there have been SO MANY articles everywhere, & my FB feed is filled w/ Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner articles & memes...) that said Jenner picked the name because of always liking it. But that still doesn't mean it fits.

But, like another PP said, maybe the inner voice said, "You're a 23 year old woman."

Which got me to thinking... What name would I pick out for myself if I felt like I was a man? Seriously, I pondered it for several minutes while I was in the shower & came up w/ nothing. It was hard enough to pick names for our DSs... much less myself! LOL! I don't know... maybe Craig? I've always liked the name Craig.

Also, in my opinion (and it's just my opinion, I realize), whatever your personal feelings are on transgenderism, I feel like Caitlyn did the transgender community a disservice by publishing such a photo-shopped, airbrushed photo. It's not real.

I don't really think the name Caitlyn fits her, to me its like she's a character on Dynasty. Crystal, Alexis and Caitlyn.
I see her more as a Beverly. Not sure why, not even sure if that fits her age group either.

If I'd want to change to a man which I don't I would choose the name Ryan.

I think if I was going to be a man I'd choose the name Stephen. No idea why, I just like that name.
