We are going on a 4 night cruise from Dec. 19-23 and have decided to spend Thursday and Friday (Dec. 23 & 24) at WDW afterwards. We want to stay in one of the cabins (our first time) and will be using DVC points for it.

My question.....do these cabins tend to book up early? Can I wait until summer to book? Or will they all be taken by then.

I'm not sure how many of these cabins there are, and I can book at the 11 month window, but I would feel better waiting until the trip is closer (to make sure we don't change our minds--not that I think we will).

Also, is there a 'loop' that is better than others? Is there one that is an easy walk to the main buildings? That would be nice. We plan to 'close' MK on Friday night and will be getting back late.

Thanks!
DJ

I don't think you will have to book this far in advance, although Christmas does get crowded. There are 700 cabins in the campground. We usually request the 2500 loop, closest to the pool and laundry. We Booked our trip for 01/30/03 on Monday of this week and we were able to get the AP discount.
