Cabins 2638 + 2640

I'm going through major excitement since I booked our second cruise for next August. It's like a dream because it's so far away and we have so much Real Life to enjoy before we get to that point.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could give a report on these two cabins. (Three pages,double spaced...) I think they are in the 'danger - could be noisy' area.

I am in the same boat as you , I have 2138 and 2140 booked for next July. I had asked about the noisy zone and I was told that it is a lovely location, and it is only noisy when you are docking. We usually like to watch docking anyway!!


Im interested to hear any other opinions , I think both sets of rooms are in very similar circumstances.

I would also love to hear about this area of the ship. We have 2646 & 2648 booked for next May. I was told that it should only be noisy the frist day before we leave and the morning that we get back...anyone know if this is true???

 

[DCL Repeaters]

Just got off the Magic this morning. We stayed in 2641 and it was EXTREMELY noisy. This was our 10th DCL cruise and first experience on deck 2. Never again will I stay on deck 2. We were assigned this room from a GTY booking status and tried to change it. Dave's Noisy Room list is right on the money. Anything on deck 2 aft is extremely noisy.

What kind of noise? is it only when pulling in and out of port, or all night long while you are trying to sleep?

My last cruise I was aft , and interior, and there was a humming that seemed constant. I found it not too annoying , but I was on deck 6. Is this humming noise the one you are talking about?
