Cabella's: A Redneck Disneyland Photo TR...

We were on a quest for snow boots for our boys. Cabella's is JUST like Disneyland as you will plainly see.

It's like all the favorites allll rolled into one. See, resembling the Grand Californian mixed with a little Wilderness Lodge:

Where'd we park? In ELMER section just past DELBERT but if you go to FOXWORTHY, you've gone too far!

Welcomed just inside the lobby area by this guy, The Carrotless Snowman:
Yes, I SEE he has one carrot...but my boys add another one to ours to freak out the neighbors:

You know me well enough that the Refillable-Mug is a Must have upon entering the food court:

Decided to go ahead and use up some Counter Service Credits:

and

I had mystery meat chili (chicken?) served in a scrumptious sour dough bread bowl with some added cheese. COULD have had Pheasant Under Glass...

We sat at in the Ammo section of the food court and this was our table:

Of course nothing screams Redneck Disney than the Condiment XMas Tree:

In clear View of the eatery was "Soarin Over Utah":

The Central Hub was a 2-story Materhorn:

Complete with an Expedition Everest Yeti:

Before going to any of the Redneck Lands, we went to the Gift Shop where we found some great last minute gifts:

It was getting late so we still had to ride the Tower of Terror:

the Real reason we were here was to purchase snow boots for the boys.
Now, that man's hoodie actually says "Hookers Wanted":

Norah just loved the Go-Carts:

Now, at the real Disney Parks we recognize each other as DISsers by wearing lime green.
At Redneck Disney, we need to wear this:

All in all it was (nearly) just as fun as the real thing. It will tide us over till next time!
Merry Christmas!

:lmao: That was awesome.

It is just like going to Disney. It's my ds-6's favorite place. He used to be scared to death of the talking man you said looks like George W. At our house, his name is Bob. Ds would scream that he didn't want to see Bob. We have a set path we must follow in order to see all the attractions at Cabela's.

Which one was this? I was at the one in West Virginia couple weeks back. Pretty much looked just like this one!
Then I couldnt leave cause someone decided to make another parking spot behind me even though clearly someone was in front of me! I had to have them paged so they would move their truck so I could leave.

Holy Smokes!

I'm thrilled anyone saw this!

Anyway...it's Lehi Utah. Beautiful sunset tonight! See the parking photo background.

Thanks y'all!

I'm not sure which frightens me more:
The fact that my family would love to go to Redneck Disneyland (and one just opened up about an hour and a half south of us), or the fact that your family dressed up to go there... ;)

But did they have Coke or Pepsi??? :drinking1

I love that photo. It reminds me of Oregon a little. I miss the west! I heard somewhere that the architect who designed the Wilderness Lodge also designed the Cabela stores. I don't know for sure though.

I live about 45 minutes from the West Virginia Cabela's. I've been there at least 3 times, spent maybe two hours in there each time, and came out without spending a cent. I'm not much of an outdoorsman! princess: My daughters really got a kick out of seeing the aquarium and the animals. Did you try the shooting gallery? We did (oh so I guess I did spend a little bit there). Glad you had a good time!

Live near a Cabella's in Kansas City. I loved seeing this thread! Thanks for the fun pictures!:thumbsup2

Ha Ha Ha Ha, I love it!!!!

We don't have a redneck Disneyland Cabella's but it's very similar to our redneck Disneyworld Bass Pro Shop!

OH here in PA we have our own Redneck Disneyland too. Ain't she pur deee.

:rotfl: You really had me going - I'll laugh about it everytime I think of that place now. Ours is always packed.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

and :lmao:

Thanks! I needed that on Christmas Eve morning before I head out to work for a short day!

Merry Christmas!

I noticed ya'll put on yer good clothes for the big trip!:lmao:

Did you find the boots?

OMG, LOVE the photos! Our closest Cabela's is a couple hours away (East Hartford, CT--we're an hour NW of Albany, NY). I'm thinking that it may be worth the trip! Particularly for DH and DS10, they could spend all day! I would probably have them bring DS(almost)2--it's never too young to start, is it?

Man, if they put a Cabela's up near here, DH would have an annual pass and I would never see him!

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
What, no custom camo skirt outfit for Norah?

Wendy!! :lmao:

You always crack me up, lady!! Utah ROCKS!:thumbsup2
