Does anyone have a recent Disney Magic Cabanas dinner menu or know if the "from the grill" portion ever changes? We were planning on eating dinner one night at Cabanas, because my mom really wants a rib-eye steak during the cruise. On the menus I've seen Cabanas serves rib-eye, but I wasn't sure if that's still true since I was looking at older menus.

This is from Cabanas the night we had the Prince & Princess menu in the other MDRs. The rib-eye is on there. This was last September:

We also ate at Cabanas on Prince & Princess menu night. Our menu (last week on the Fantasy) was different than this one because I had the most amazing Greek grilled chicken salad - one of my favorite entrees of the week. The grilled rib-eye was still on there as well and both my parents ordered it. They were both quite pleased.

So this is a question I've always had and never asked but since it came up as a topic I'll ask. Is any of the food for cabanas dinner worth skipping out for on the MDR's. The reason I ask is because we have always loved the fact that your serving team follows you around and dinner becomes a highlight of the cruise for me. I've never booked Palo dinner for this reason to but don't worry I do there brunch :) I love good food and maybe If i run up to cabanas before my second seating dining on my next cruise i can experience both

Basically the menu for dinner in Cabanas is a selection of items from the menu available in the other MDRs that evening, plus a salad bar and carving station. So you're not going to get a lot different offerings than you will in the MDR.

Can a rib-eye be ordered in the main dining room? I know they'll bring you things from a different MDR menu than the one you're in that night, but I don't remember rib-eye before, and we've never done cabanas for dinner because we love to interact with our servers in the MDRs.

On the Magic in Cabanas in Europe we had a carvary and salad bar and not a set menu or items from the MDR.

To add the Magic operates in a different way to the Fantasy and also is different in different locations. We had buffets in the Med in 2014 not menus as you can see. Steak was there some nights.

On the Magic this May, the menu changed every night, except for the "from the grill" section. Those four entrees were there every night. If Cabana's was open on the first night, we'd never eat in the MDR again. Food is so much better and the service is much more personal and personable in Cabana's. The rib eye, BTW, was excellent :)

I don't know, that's a good question :confused3.

We're on a Caribbean cruise, I read that on long port days they just offer a buffet instead of a set menu but I'm not sure on that. Thanks for the input! :thumbsup2

Awesome, good to hear :thanks:.

On EBTA 15 we had rib eye from the set menu. It was one of the best steaks we had all vacation.

Service was quick, food was hot and eating in Cabanas was very quiet with only a handful of people eating, a nice change to the noisy MDRs
