Cabana's breakfast menu on disembarkation day

It's my understanding that they serve in Cabanas only until 8:00 (as in they have to food out to serve), but you can stay there until 8:30.

As I understand it as well, the food selection becomes more limited the closer to 8:00 you get there. They aren't preparing food to the degree they have been on the cruise as they expect most people to go to their dining room.

In the past (2+ years ago), we were in Cabanas and still eating at 8:30. There was still food out and people getting food. We always stay on the ship as long as possible because we are locals, so we hang in Cananas until they give us the old heave ho. We typically leave our room at 8 and head up to eat. But like I said, that was 2 years ago. They may have tightened up the time frame.

If you go to Cabanas instead of the MDR, can you leave your carry-ons in the room or do you have to lug them with you? We always have early dining, therefore early disembarkation day breakfast.

I think they require that you be out of your rooms by 8 a.m. We have gone up to Cabanas at 7:00 and left our bags in the room, then come back down to get them by 8 a.m. We always told our room steward we'd be back in the allotted time.

I've always understood it that when you leave your cabin, you LEAVE your cabin. No going back - everything goes with you.

Not true. You need to be out of your cabin by 8:00 so we always head up to Cabanas before 8:00 and eat and then return just before 8:00 to collect our carry ons (that are stacked by the door) and head off the ship. Much less stressful that way. We did this most recently on Saturday the 20th from the Fantasy. They had a full assortment of hot and cold breakfast items in Cabanas on the last morning. So much better than dragging carryons into the MDRs IMO.

We did give our room host a heads up when we saw her in the hallway that we were going to eat and would be back and that she could go in and strip the bed if she wanted. She was thankful and when we got back the bed was already made but the bathrooms were not done yet.
