its $428 for a cabana on the adult beach. Do you think it is worth it for just 2 adults? We are thinking of doing an excursion from 1:30-3:30pm. Would you say it isn't worth it especially if we still did the Excursion?

For me, personally, a cabana for 2 isn't worth it. But for others it is. Totally a personal call.

It's a no for me as well for just 2 adults! And yes, I would say that it's especially not worth it if you are doing an excursion!!

We, as 2 adults, have done the cabana 2 separate times and would easily do it again. I am extremely fair skinned and heat in-tolerant and we have never done excursions on CC. We LOVED the cabana both times. But, totally a personal decision.

To add, maybe you can find another couple on your sailing that would like to split cabana with you?

My husband and I get a cabana for 2 whenever we can snag one, totally worth it.
Its so relaxing after spending a couple hours out in the water, to come back sit back nap and enjoy the view.

I'm cheap, so I'd say no.
I'd rather spend that on something on the ship (couple's massage, Remy, etc.).

You can get almost the same experience on the ship at Castaway for no additional charge (nearly empty pool deck).

I don't know, I would lean yes except for your excursion... you're really only getting about half a day's worth of time so it comes out to be about ~ $100/hour and is that worth it to you? It's definitely pure paradise but I think it would be a better value if you didn't have the excursion.

If it were comp'd heck yeah! Otherwise, put me in the no category for 2. We've had them with friends and family and totally worth it but when we cruise by ourselves, it's way more than the two of us need in cost and amenities at CC.

but I do love the cabanas.

Would totally be for doing it if you weren't doing the excursion. Doesn't make sense to pay for both. The excursion will cut into the value of the cabana. You also have to take into consideration the time yo get back and forth yo the excursion.

I was going to say, split it with someone. Before the cruise I managed to make friends with quite a few folks on our FB group and lo and behold, one of them asked me if my DH and I wanted to split a cabana with them. Heck yeah! The first and only time we were ever in a cabana as we are still only Silver.

My friend might have been looking to economize but for me, it was a real highlight of our trip. ::yes::

DH and I cruised in December. It was so worth it for us to have the shelter. It was awesome.

Nope. When we want to get out of the sun we just go back to the air-conditioned ship. We'd rather spend the $$$ on something else.

We get a cabana on SB every trip and there is just 2 of us. We don't do excursions but DH snorkels and I love to read. After 6 skin cancers I like having the shade and the fridge for cold water. For us it is worth it.

We plan on getting off the ship first thing in the morning and we get back on around 4:00 so we can enjoy the cabana all day long! We get one on the FB every chance we get.

I would book it for 2 people if it would be used the whole time.
Don't think I would with an excursion.
I would kind of consider the cabana an excursion of its own.

This ^^^^ When I get a cabana I want to savor it all day or not at all. My DH on the other hand would want a cabana no matter what.
