Cab Ride Timing

I am trying to figure out if it is possible for my DD to do the Typhoon Lagoon surfing experience on the day we fly home. It finishes at 9:00am, we are staying at POR and our international flight is at 1:30pm. So, my questions are:

-Approximately how long is the cab ride from Typhoon Lagoon to POR?
-What time would ME pick us up for our flight?

Can't answer the cab question.

DME pickup times are scheduled approximately 3 hours prior to your scheduled flight departure time for domestic flights and 4 hours prior to your scheduled departure time for international flights.

So your pickup time would be around 9:30 AM.

The cab ride would take maybe 15 mins, depending on traffic. But, that's cutting it very close. I doubt I would try it.

I agree, that's too tight. I would be worrying we would miss DME and not enjoy watching DD try surfing.

Much too tight. DME will pick you up 4 hours +/- 15 minutes for an international flight, but you should be at the DME bus stop 15 minutes before your pick up time just in case the bus arrives early. Your daughter will need time to change after the surf experience finishes and you'll need time to get to the taxi stand, get a taxi and the drive back to POR. If you left carryon luggage at bell services you'll need additional time to collect your things. If you miss your scheduled DME bus there's no guarantee that there will be another bus soon or with room for you. Can you plan the surfing experience for another day?

I'm trying to book it for another day, but it only runs Mon, Tue & Fri with 10-12 spots. They're all booked, but I'll keep checking. Wish you could do that online, as the wait on the phone is crazy. Oh well, we have lots of other awesome stuff planned, so if we can't make it work, that's okay. Was just something she really wanted to try.
