Bye Bye VMK Offerings - In Park

I am really sad about this.

I found the 50 Mickey's on VMK and have been hanging onto this piece of paper to redeem at VMK central for 6 months. Now, I have learned that I will not be able to redeem it in WDW in December becuase they have retired it. NOt so terrible, but I am a little disappointed. I can't help it that I cannot go until December.

Additionally, now I will not be able to get the HM Conservatory that I have been drooling about. I wanted to make that a dark ride room.

AND...when I called, the lady told me that by the time I go in December, I will not be able to get the Kali raft and Safari room.

I could care less about the HSM stuff, Explorer's Tent and others, but I am really sad about the others

They were still allowing them to be redeemed, but now they will not anymore.

I had thought that the gold collection itself had been gone and they were giving out cards with credits on it. Still, good to know that they will no longer be accepting the PDF.

Also, I want to comment about the HM Conservatory. Those rooms haven't been given out at the parks in a while. I believe they stopped giving out those when they stopped the VMK park tour.

Thanks HallGirl. I did not have that impression, but I am glad to know that this was not recent. The lady on the phone made it sound recent. Maybe they just ran out.

Actually they stopped giving out the Haunted Mansion stuff before the tours ended. It was replaced with the Pirate quest which was how you originally got the prison room, seagull hat, stool, captains couch, insider pin and firewall before those prizes were recycled with the VMK Pirate pins.

Hmm well I am in the same boat. I have coupons awarded for hidden mickeys and high score in Jungle Cruise, but alas will not be able to make it to parks any time soon. My hubby is disabled and we just can't afford to go. Well anyway if someone can go and wants these I can mail them to you if you like. Hate to see them go to waste...PM me if you are interested

The only way to get a Haunted Mansion Conservatory now is to win Best Guest, Game, or Quest award in VMK, you receive it as one of your prizes along with the pin.

This is interesting. I didn't know there was a phone number to call and they would tell you when certain quests would expire. Could you please post the number, I'd love to give them a call since I will be visiting WDW soon?
