BWV to Hollywood Studios

We almost always walk. As the others have said, it is a nice walk.
Unless it is really hot, I enjoy it

It isn't the prettiest walk at Disney (in particular, the part of the path that goes under the road), but that has more to do with so many walks at Disney are really landscaped well - and this one is pretty minimal in the gardening done. There is a longish walk next to the DHS parking lot as well (which if its hot is the worst part of the walk, the heat comes up off the asphalt and makes you want to run for the boat).

It does tend to be one of the places at Disney where you can take a walk and maybe get a few minutes of being "alone." The path isn't heavily used, the boat may go by, or a few people, but it is seldom "busy." (Can you tell why I often walk it while my husband and kids take the boat?)

We LOVE the walk to the Studios from BW. It's a nice alternative to the bus/boat transportation. :thumbsup2

One thing to add; don't know if you have young kids, but it's a very nice, quiet walk along the water and we have timed the walk around my younger daughters naps. So we usually do DHS early, and then one of us will walk back with the stroller and inevitably she will fall asleep. Not as likely to happen on the boat, b/c it's quite a bit noisier.

So if you are trying to get a young one to fall asleep, I highly recommend the walk!

We always walk. We stay at BWV often and walking to DHS is one of our pros for this resort. Since we generally stay in the standard rooms, we are the closest to DHS. By the time we walk from our room to the BW/marina we could be half way there.

We kinda like it.

It takes us about 15 minutes to walk from BWV to DHS.

You can definately beat the boat back to BCV or BWV after Fantasmic.

Thanks everyone for the great info! I'll probably take the boat and save my aching feet!:cool1:

That still may not work out for you since the line while you wait for the boat is standing only. You may as well start walking.

That is a great picture. I don't know that I've ever walked it at night that direction (I've walked BACK at night).

Thanks, yea your missing one of the great walks at WDW (I would say the best approaching park walk for sure), were big hopper fans so often will head to DHS for Fantasmic last minute.

You could also get some rear view mirror glasses for the walk home. ;)
