I was looking at the pictures and also the layout of all of the studios and villas and it appears that at the BWV Studios there is a queen sized bed, a double bed sized sleep sofa and also a small couch located next to the TV armoire. Is this true? Could a 5 year old sleep on it in a pinch? Sometimes the teenager doesn't like to sleep with the little brother. LOL

We stayed in a BWV studio once that had one of the day beds. My then 5-year old DD slept on this very comfortably. That being said, I'm not sure that all of the studios actually have the day bed. Others may know the answer to that question.

Only a few studios have the daybed. We stayed in one last June. It's more of a bench with 1 inch cushion than it is a daybed. Our 6yo tried it and decided he didn't like it. But, you may have more luck if you get one.

Only the "studio plus" units (also known as dedicated studios) have the small day bed . While you may request a dedicated studio, there is no guarantee that you will be assigned one. You may want to consider bringing along an air mattress/sleeping bag or an aero bed if the boys can't sleep together.

Best wishes -

We had a studio plus a few wks ago. We hadn't requested it but my 6 yr old DD loved it. (She is tall and will be 7 next month) She thought it was so cozy and slept great on it. We did call housekeeping and requested a bed rail which really helped alot. I wouldn't hesitate to use it again.

We've stayed at BWV 4 times, twice requesting the daybed and not getting it. Last time, we didn't request it, but got one. Go figure. DD (9) 54" tall sqeezed onto it instead of sleeping on the airmattress that we always carry for her. SHe's got this thing about feeling like a 2nd class citizen on the airmattress. The daybed is really not that comfortable, but kids perceptions are different than gorwn ups. The 5 year old would easily fit on it, but as all have siad, there's no guarantee you would get a unit with one.

My tall 7 year old DS slept on the daybed and loved it- talked about it so much that my even taller DD 11 wanted to try it one night and did fine! (Please keep in mind that my children will fall asleep and sleep soundly almost anywhere on earth! Even during the Poly Luau in their chairs!) I think its something to do with Disney wiping them out!!! lol :cool1:

I WISH my mom would log onto this site more often. She is at WDW right now, splitting her time between BWV/VWL. She called about a week out to request "dedicated" studios for their stay. She was told by MS that there are "no such rooms". ALL rooms at BWV and VWL are adjoining.

Whatever...I guess DH stayed in "imaginary" rooms at both places!!!
