Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on making requests for a standard view studio at BWV. I just made reservations for next Memorial Day weekend....the first time we'll be a family of 5 (2 adults, 2 children and an infant...perfectly legal) and our baby will be about 2months old (probably more like 2.5m). Our other kids will be 9yo and 4yo.

I was thinking of asking for a room close to the elevators, but then wondered if there are any nicer studios down the far end of the hallway. We had a one bedroom down there before and it was great! Or are there any good reasons for requesting a higher floor or something?

Any suggestions would be welcome...and I'm not really picky about any of this but like to up my chances of getting "the perfect room" LOL...not that I really know what that is until I get it!

first floor is nice - but you might get a handicapped room - if you can live without the tub - then request 1st floor.

otherwise I would request near the elevators - you are going to be pushing a stroller and you want easy access. Views can come later - when the kids are older.

someone say that all handicapped rooms must be on the first floor because if the power is off the elevators will not come and they have to be able to leave the building in their wheelchairs.

We had a 1 bedroom last year across from the bus stop on the top floor, about halfway down the hall (4103). Great view of Illuminations, you could even hear the music.

We only request non-smoking 2BR, but a couple years ago we had a view off the end of the building, on the first floor, so we saw the canal and the bushes masking the parking lot. It was a short walk down the hall to the exit, and a short walk to the bus stop. Would not mind having that again. We have never been dissatisfied with our standard view rooms.
