We're heading down to BWV for our first stay in a GV in a couple of weeks. Our guests will probably be arriving a bit after we do. Do we all need to be there at the same time to check-in or can we check-in for our whole party and receive their room keys?

Laura,
To the best of my knowledge the entire party need NOT to be prresent at check-in. If you tell the CM that the rest of your party is arriving later they will give you the # of room keys you need.

We had a situation like this when I stayed with friends at Coronado in Feb. 3 of us arrived in the morning (including the person whose name the reservation was in), the 4th person did not arrive until afternoon. Our rooms were ready when we arrived (8:30am!) so they just printed out her key and put it in an envelope for when she arrived later in the day. She was able to get into the room and put down her stuff and meet us later.

At check-in, the front desk will happily issue as many keys as needed, to the person who's name is on the reservation. Last year we had a GV and 2 studios at OKW, and when we checked in, we picked up keys for all of the accomodations, along with a few extra GV keys so that the people staying in the studio would have easy access to the GV.

This way we were able to hang out at the pool the rest of the day, and as our guests arrived, they met us at the pool and picked up their keys and then went to the parks or whatever until the room was ready.

When I check in, I just hand the front desk person a list of everyone's names, ages, who has charging priveys, and a listing of what vehicles will be onsite and the license plate numbers...
