BWV/BWInn map

I have seen a map where it is color coded....shows which portion of the Boardwalk resort is the Inn and where the Villas are. Does anyone know where that is? I looked under resorts and found a map here, but it's black and white - doesnt tell me which is which.

In a one bedroom, preferred view, where can I expect to be? Is there any special location request I should make? Can you see EPCOT's Illuminations, or do any of them overlook the Boardwalk?

Preferred view rooms overlook either the Boardwalk, the canal/Swan/Dolphin Hotels, the Luna Park (main) pool or the quiet pool/Community Hall building. Rooms that overlook the Boardwalk do have a view of the higher fireworks from Illuminations. Some of the rooms that overlook the quiet pool have a view of the Studios' ToT and portions of Fantasmic.

Studios, 1 bedrooms and 2 bedrooms are scattered throughout the resort. Your 1 bedroom unit could have a view of any of those descibed above. All of the 3 bedroom units (Grand Villas) overlook the Boardwalk.

The Boardwalk views are the most frequently requested. Members have estimated that approximatley 20% (maybe less) of the preferred view rooms are Boardwalk views.

There is only one set of elevators for BWV. Some of the rooms (including some of the Boardwalk views) are quite a distance from the elevators. There are both smoking and non-smoking rooms in all categories of preferred, but the number of non-smoking rooms far exceeds the number of smoking rooms.

On the DIS map of the BWI/BWV, the villas are between the canal and the shared BWI/BWV lobby. Hope that helps.
