BWI & GF Late Check-out

How sucessful have you been with late check-out requests from the BWI and GF? I know they can hold your bags but I wanted to know if they do accomodate a later check-out time than 11:00. Should I request this in advance or when we get to the resort? We're splitting our stay and wanted to try to have our room available as late as possible.
