Thanx for all the really great points of view on this matter. Everyone has their own opinions and favorites. I dont mean to put down VWL as I do own it but it also has its drawbacks. It may be the most beautiful of all the resorts but it is located near nothing. You can take a boat ride to MK but a long bus ride everywhere else. Also I am from the northeast and when I travel to Florida I dont want to live in a " Log cabin" type of setting. I am sure that this resort attracts many more southerners than us Yankees. I do agree with the point about the parking lot at the BCV being very close. The BCV are supposed to be modeled after cape may vacation clubs or hotels on the Jersey Shore. I grew up in that area and have not seen anything as nice as BCV in New Jersey. Though the Boardwalk in Wildwood N.J. is about 2 miles long and puts the Disney boardwalk to shame. thanks for all the great points of veiw and have a great time at the Villas.

I've sometimes dreamed about owning BCV points for access to SAB -

We usually fly in on Saturday and out the following Friday or Saturday. So I think for us, our Beach Club stays will be limited to cash at the hotel on Saturday night. Fly in early Saturday afternoon, play around SAB for the day - eat in the Epcot resorts - the next morning have Disney move our luggage over to BWV - where the pool is more than adequate. As the kids get older, add a day at the water park as well. Given our travel pattern, this seems like a more cost effective and efficient way of dealing with it than an actual add on - and we really only have a window of a handful of trips where SAB will be really appreciated by the kids.

Thanks everyone about the teen information at SAB!!! It sounds like my boys will love this place, especially my 14 (or he'll be closer to 15 in April) yr old. Do you ever allow your young teens to walk around the Boardwalk with newly made friends at night?? You guys are the best!

We love the "action" and vibrancy of BWV. Of course, there are others here who enjoy the quietude of OKW, where you can hear the grass growing. Each to his own .....
