Okay let me at least get us over the border in this TR for crying out loud. I'm never THIS WORDY. Well that's a lie. I am in general. But NEVER in a TR.
The border.
Oh the border.
Never easy.
Why? Jean is so often in the car.
You see border guards like succinct clear answers. Jean likes to confuse them. She says too much and sometimes it's not the right answer. And she's not an "oversharer" in life. I am. Who knows why it only happens there. It's unreal the memories we've had AT THE BORDER.
Once, when we were together, she was asked how we know each other and she started to tell the guard "our story"
. My Lord.
Another time she had a US agent after 9/11 screaming into our car before we even reached the border guard (Canadian - two passes right after September 11th ). We had did a zig zag though Quebec - through Vermont and NY state and back into Canada. But she doesn't know geography meaming routes. She had him livid. And I had to calm him down. Yes I share these stories EVERY SINGLE TR. What of it?
So the border is no longer relaxing for me. Will never be again. I have to school her every time. And it's fun and games for her. And you can be flagged for life if you piss them off. Sorry for my language - my father still hates me saying "I was pissed off" and I'm 43.
Anyway, this time was a head killer for them.
Are we driving to WDW as we usually do? Nope.
Are we flying out of Toronto? Nope. Too many taxes and we're at the land crossing.
Are you flying out of Buffalo? Nope. On holidays they know we're coming and prices go up and up.
Pittsburgh? Rochester? Nope. Nope.
No we're driving BUT flying out of NYC.
It sounds simple. But not at the border.
But yeah for you - we've actually crossed the border!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm now on US soil and WDW is on US soil.
Lovely flight. Lovely tree on board - underneath.
Lovely ME time. You no longer have to line up at the counter. Yeah. On bus.
I am now in my BELOVED BELOVED BWV.
We have arrived!
Check-in was perfect. And I have much more to tell you about that. I have to - we had split dining. And so happy to say BWV did well!
So until I return I present the BW lobby.
Up next: APs and the MK and it's a Sunday.
