Idris' birthday was great. We went to see Macy's windows, then walked to TImes Square to Dave and Busters. Had Dinner at REd Lobster and then walked to Rockerfeller Center to see the tree. Then took the bus home. It was a beautiful day out and it was packed on the streets for New Years Day.
Nice. Lovely to hear. And it was so mild for you.
I have some Christmas windows for you later in this TR. I didn't make it to Macy's

- I was rushed in an exciting and lovely way that day - but I have others.
Here's a teaser:
No, tap away GinnyEmma. The pressure is good for me right now.
My parents are from Erin, which is a small town in ONtario. I have a lot of fond memories of visiting family up there.
I know it. My uncle has moved to Elmira - yes no where near Erin BUT I travel through that area of Peel to get over there. Neat.
Thanks for your kind words Kirsten.
Where are you in the States?
I'm joining in!

This sounds like it's going to be a good TR!

I like your snow pictures! We never get snow where I live!
Thanks for coming. Oh the pressure.
Snow - or lack of - good or bad?
Canadians, in general, hate snow. I like it. It's cold bring it on. Downtown Toronto, where I lived for over ten years and I'm going back, hardly gets much. I know that sounds strange being so close to snowville

Buffalo I mean - but it hardly stays in the core of Toronto.
More please! This is really fun and not your typical TR. You sound like a fun person to hang out with!! Let the TR continue....
Well are you gong to get this "fun person to hang out with" a date?

Thanks for coming over and thanks for the compliments.
Looking forward to more!!!!
Thanks rascalmom.
Sending many good wishes your way!
I look forward to reading your TR... and hey, Disney is great therapy!
Wanna know a secret? When I'm in the dentist chair (I'm deathly afraid of the dentist and the DRILL OF DOOM)
I pretend I am riding the Small World... I go through and listen and smell and see all those wonderful rooms and dolls...it makes me happy!
Of course, to others, that would probably be a nightmare, but to each his own!
PS...love your description of Ontario... I live outside of Detroit and we are well aware that you have to drive South to get into Canada!!!
Love your Canada knowledge. As for the dentist. Good for you. Smart.
Wanna know I secret?
I haven't been to the dentist in nearly twenty years. I know how bad and ridiculous that is. Why? Sometimes no coverage. And the big one:
My dentist didn't believe in freezing.
No, don't read it again. You read correctly. As a child I had cavities with ZERO FREEZING.
Then - if you ask nicely - I may tell you about OKW.
My dearest Kathryn, (you are a Kathryn from birth, yes? uh oh.

)
Please do me a thoughtful and wonderful favour (yes that's the prettier version of your "favor") and share your OKW stay.
Signed your humble photography student.
Yes I realize I just might have screwed my chances with my sarcasm over favour.
hope things get better for you! Come back when you're ready
Well I"m not really ready. It got worse later today in the end. But I'm here. I lost someone very precious to me (not death) and I think all of us know how incredibly painful that is. (Please no one paste this - don't want pain all over a lovely trip - and don't want to spread the drama - and just want to pretend it's not there -thanks).
So here. In the end here - this is a lovely distraction. So thank you.
.
yes, my post was a compliment..love your TR"

and

and more
