BW Bakery Blasphemy: UPDATED TR finished with picture overload -THE END!!!!!

Lisa, I don't usually click on trip reports, unless we're very close to heading down to WDW. but I remember one of your previous trips, and your report was a TRIP!!! So when I saw your name again, I clicked on this.

Big hugs!!! I hope whatever you're dealing with turns out okay. My parents are from Erin, which is a small town in ONtario. I have a lot of fond memories of visiting family up there. Anyway, take care.

Hi everyone! :goodvibes

This afternoon I considered through tears to ask a MOD to close this TR. I am fine in the big terms. I just had some emotionally devastating news to deal with and I didn't know if I had it in me. Yes SO dramatic;) but unfortunately true.

But then I got myself together and thought "nope" - not letting it stop me from the joy I get from sharing (and interacting) with you all. SO NOPE. NOPE. NOPE. NOPE. Yes I'm actually talking to myself ;) and yes I'm having a mini therapy session on my own TR. :rotfl2:

I am fine. Everyone is fine. My family is fine. No worries. But I'm suffering through something. So just give me a day or two and I'll be back strong and joyful.

I'LL BE BACK.

Yes of course it's said with that accent. :lmao:

I'm joining in! :wave2: This sounds like it's going to be a good TR!:) I like your snow pictures! We never get snow where I live!
I hope things get better for you!:grouphug: I'm glad everyone is all right.

More please! This is really fun and not your typical TR. You sound like a fun person to hang out with!! Let the TR continue....:surfweb:

Sending many good wishes your way!

I look forward to reading your TR... and hey, Disney is great therapy!

Wanna know a secret? When I'm in the dentist chair (I'm deathly afraid of the dentist and the DRILL OF DOOM)

I pretend I am riding the Small World... I go through and listen and smell and see all those wonderful rooms and dolls...it makes me happy!

Of course, to others, that would probably be a nightmare, but to each his own!

PS...love your description of Ontario... I live outside of Detroit and we are well aware that you have to drive South to get into Canada!!!

:Listen missy. I caught the BW picture before I started. Imagine me sighing and shaking my head.

How was your trip?

YES I DO WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THE OKW PART OF YOUR STAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't make me beg. I will.

:rolleyes1

Here's a hug for you now. Hope things get better for you soon! We will be patiently waiting until you're ready.

Then - if you ask nicely - I may tell you about OKW. :rotfl:

:hug:Take all the time you need - hope things get better for you! Come back when you're ready :goodvibes

 hope all is well...
yes, my post was a compliment..love your TR":)

Hi Lisa

I'm with everyone loving your trip reports and giving a hug:hug:.

Oh boy. Thanks everyone. I'm a little embarrassed that I brought a drama over. However, I did need to talk myself into pushing through to keep on the TR.

You know what I love about aging. The bounceback time. No not skin. :rotfl2: The emotional bounceback. Things can sting and continue to sting but the strength comes in much much easier. And at rapid speed. Maybe that's why men don't like older woman. Too da@n SCARY for them. :goodvibes

So this afternoon onward.

Here's a picture that has three hints.

Well wait no. That's two hints and one big fat statement.

EDIT: I've tried to resize this klsafjldjf;laksj picture three times and it won't come out that way. So sorry everyone.

EDIT THE SEQUEL: Yeah. Got it. Every single picture on photobucket needs to be resized. Oh no - my sanity!!!!!

I will return today. Thank you to anyone that is following. TRs are so much easier to get out with interaction.

I'm glad you decided to continue your TR (hopefully things are better for you :grouphug:) I am so looking forward to reading it after what you have written so far! We are staying at BWV for the 1st time in June so I am loving your pictures and can't wait for more...

I am all up in this TR!
You had me in your first little conversation with yourself! I do the samething. Hope your drama gets better soon! Can't wait to read more!

I'm in, and I think I remember how the parents always get the good rooms, and the nephews and the family tree.

:grouphug: that things are ok.

And your pics are always amazing.

Here we go. I LOST AN ENTIRE POST earlier. LOST IT!!! I so wish I had alcohol. Yes I know I could do it in Word but I need my smilies immediately as I write.

Before I start let me tell you what helped my feelings last night. Are you ready? I went to the TV and sighed and smiled. There is was - an 80's classic - Rodney Dangerfield's Back to School. I catch it every five or ten years and it still works. And most importantly makes me laugh. Rodney Downey Jr. actually looks almost the same - OMG I just typed Rodney Downey - let's all pray - Robert Downey Jr. actually looks the same. The movie is twenty five years old. How is that possible? :confused3 How? And with years and years "vitamin";) drugs no less. How? :confused3. My Lord. Anyway the movie is priceless.

AND - yes I DO realize this is supposed to be a WDW DVC trip report :rotfl2: - . Indulge me. I've had quite the two days.

Okay, one more goody that helped me last night. One of the commercials was my very favourite Canadian historical vignette. I'm talking like you know what I'm talking about. :lmao: We have these old historic commercials. They're old AND historic. This one stars Kate Nelligan (mother in Prince of Tides - how was Barbra able to sleep with her patient anyway? :surfweb:, and Eye of the Needle). She plays Emily Murphy and talks about not being a "person" in the law until 1929.

Oh I love the line - "I Emily Murphy, of Alberta and every other Canadian women after me, persons under the law"

Earlier I had a problem finding it - but I did! Clap your hands. :3dglasses I SO needed it. She's such a powerful actress and it's brilliant. Well to me anyway.

Here it is! Here it is! Here it is!

http://www.histori.ca/minutes/minute.do?id=10205

To think that my grandmother, who came from Ireland in the early 1920s, was not a person for her first few years in Canada. And get this SHE WAS A WORKING WOMAN. It's so close to our generation. Unreal.

Okay, I'm off it. :rotfl2:

My trip. Our trip. The trip.

Pre-show:

Two items are very important -

And

100_9523-1.jpg

I better post this NOW. I can't handle another lost post. I'll just continue along....

So the tree.

My tree. :rotfl2: It's so funny.

I always have real trees. Always. But I was bound and determined that if I was at WDW for Christmas Day - well a tree was coming. And obviously real wasn't going to work.

So I found this 6.5 - and good width - foot tree and just said, "it's coming with me!".

Six and half feet and no one is stopping me. :goodvibes

No one believed me. No one. My father came for a Christmas party here and couldn't lay off it. Over and over "and how do you think you're getting that tree to Florida?". My friend :lovestruc said "what?".

But I knew it could work.

And I knew SW would come through once again. I love you SW. I take very little in way of suitcases. Usually just a carry-on. So with Southwest I had two extra bags to work with (of course I was hijacking Jean's extra bag ;)).

And I wrestled the tree. And I taped it down. And I rolled it in a towel :rotfl2:. In three separate parts.

No, I'm not finished.

I then pinned or roped it down.

No, I'm not finished.

I then stuffed two pieces in an Eddie Bauer lovely almost twenty year old bag that I've only used on one trip. To Japan. To live. And one and the star in with my clothes. On the way home I gambled and got all three in.

No, I'm not finished.

It still was very close to SW's 60 something L times W times D limit. And I took two bungee cords and lassooed (sp????) the crap over the bag.

I MUST go get my camera and take a picture of the captive tree bag. I MUST. :goodvibes There was no way I was paying fifty bucks for being over.

Here it is in my BWV suite in case anyone needs proof that I and it was a success. ;)

I have yet to let the poor thing out.

O Christmas tree - O Christmas tree - how I love your adaptabillity! :rotfl2:

And just in case you think the body bag was not properly checked. ;) :rotfl:

Idris' birthday was great. We went to see Macy's windows, then walked to TImes Square to Dave and Busters. Had Dinner at REd Lobster and then walked to Rockerfeller Center to see the tree. Then took the bus home. It was a beautiful day out and it was packed on the streets for New Years Day.

Nice. Lovely to hear. And it was so mild for you.

I have some Christmas windows for you later in this TR. I didn't make it to Macy's :sad1: - I was rushed in an exciting and lovely way that day - but I have others. :thumbsup2

Here's a teaser:

I will quit tapping.

No, tap away GinnyEmma. The pressure is good for me right now. :3dglasses

My parents are from Erin, which is a small town in ONtario. I have a lot of fond memories of visiting family up there.

I know it. My uncle has moved to Elmira - yes no where near Erin BUT I travel through that area of Peel to get over there. Neat.

Thanks for your kind words Kirsten.

Where are you in the States?

(((hugs)))

:goodvibes

I'm joining in! :wave2: This sounds like it's going to be a good TR!:) I like your snow pictures! We never get snow where I live!

Thanks for coming. Oh the pressure.

Snow - or lack of - good or bad?

Canadians, in general, hate snow. I like it. It's cold bring it on. Downtown Toronto, where I lived for over ten years and I'm going back, hardly gets much. I know that sounds strange being so close to snowville :rotfl2: Buffalo I mean - but it hardly stays in the core of Toronto.

More please! This is really fun and not your typical TR. You sound like a fun person to hang out with!! Let the TR continue....:surfweb:

Well are you gong to get this "fun person to hang out with" a date? ;):lmao:

Thanks for coming over and thanks for the compliments.

Looking forward to more!!!!

Thanks rascalmom. :goodvibes

Sending many good wishes your way!

Love your Canada knowledge. As for the dentist. Good for you. Smart.

Wanna know I secret?

I haven't been to the dentist in nearly twenty years. I know how bad and ridiculous that is. Why? Sometimes no coverage. And the big one:

My dentist didn't believe in freezing.

No, don't read it again. You read correctly. As a child I had cavities with ZERO FREEZING. :scared1:

Then - if you ask nicely - I may tell you about OKW. :rotfl:

My dearest Kathryn, (you are a Kathryn from birth, yes? uh oh. :rotfl2:)

Please do me a thoughtful and wonderful favour (yes that's the prettier version of your "favor") and share your OKW stay.

Signed your humble photography student.

Yes I realize I just might have screwed my chances with my sarcasm over favour. :rotfl2:

hope things get better for you! Come back when you're ready :goodvibes

Well I"m not really ready. It got worse later today in the end. But I'm here. I lost someone very precious to me (not death) and I think all of us know how incredibly painful that is. (Please no one paste this - don't want pain all over a lovely trip - and don't want to spread the drama - and just want to pretend it's not there -thanks).

So here. In the end here - this is a lovely distraction. So thank you.

.
yes, my post was a compliment..love your TR":)

:goodvibes and :goodvibes and more :goodvibes

Hi Lisa

.
