Buzz Lightyear's Spin Report

Okay kids here's the dope.

I had been hearing a lot of talk that Buzz needed a little tune up.

So last week I made a point to ride it about a dozen times or more. (Okay it was more.)

Anyway, it must be broken because a few times I didn't max out, and the best I ever did was 999,999 on one gun and ONLY 621,100 on the other. Clearly I wasn't at fault so the ride must be broken.

I didn't notice the paint. Is there paint on the cars? Doesn't the paint burn off space capsules on re-entry? Anyway I didn't notice, I try to, as Luke Skywalker says, "Stay On Target."

There are definatly some mystery targets in the black place with the smoke and red lights. One pays big. I have one idea where it is.

Every gun I had fired but the aim must be off 'cause as I said I didn't always max out. Blair did for the first time and as an Evil Emperor I was glad to see his marksmanship improving. He had a great time showing Buz & Mattsmom's Matt how to score big.

See ya all in December. Start thinking up you excuses for why I whip you now.

I just love this ride, although I am really, really, really stinky at it. I hope to meet the Great and Powerful Emporor Zurg while in the MK, and perhaps glean a few pointer for improving my aim, timing, turning.... Actually, if I would just stop laughing and "Stay on Target" I might be able to break 1000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good grief, I don't have to think of any excuses. I'm lousy at marksmanship. However, to be fair, I think I spent more time shooting a man in the car behind me during DISCON I. That was more fun.

I do far better at Men in Black at Universal (yes Virginia, there is life outside WDW).

I don't claim to be a marksman (on Buzz - the guns aren't that reliable at best,) but I just hope that the guns all work now. The last time I was there (March 2002) at least 1/2 the time I got guns that didn't even shoot a light beam. Maybe they have done some work on it since then. And when I'm at WDW I DO notice the paint. Those rides haven't been in space - just abused by thousands of guests.

For those who do not know the story here it is:
Last year Bobcat and I shared a car on Buzzlight and she tells me, don't worry , I never get anything in this darn thing!
We get through the ride and we realize she's got a gazillion points....guess what she says?? I must have hit something!! LOL.

I'm NOT sitting with ya this time Lisa, you will put me to shame!! ROFLMBO

LOL, Ray, I have to laugh.

Yes, those 'guns' on Buzz are about the most sporatic operating devices WDW has I think, LOL. I remember riding in '99 with Lady M and she scored -0-. To this day, we laugh about it and she says she knows she is a bad shot, but not THAT bad, she liked Annie Oakley as a kid and says she was a good shot then, LOL.

And yes, Steve, MIB rocks!!!!

are you goinh to MVMCP on the 8th? Hopefully I can ride BUZZ with you and see a pro at work, I have NEVER seen anyone max out the score on BUZZ. Unfortunately I won't be there in time for the BUZZ meet, that's the thing about work it always get in the way of my fun.
