Buzz Lightyear tips

I would appreciate any advice on high-scoring targets at the Buzz Lightyear ride or direct me to an existing thread. I always seem to have the lowest score of my family and am hoping to "wow" them on our next trip. Thanks.

I wasn't great on Buzz either, always getting beat by DH "Mr. Playstation" too, until I discovered this trick. Now I always top out my score at 999,999--I am the Galactic Hero!

Anyway, in the first or second room you're in (I'm pretty sure it's the first), there are battery packs on the ceiling, each hit is like 100,000 points. Hit that 9 times and you're up to 900,000, then just keep hitting the targets to get the remaining 99,999 points.

That's a great tip aladdinsgirl... I'll have to remember that when dh and I are there this May.

Also, always aim for the things in the back. Everything up front is worth a lot less points that the targets in the back, especially the moving ones.

And, maybe you'll be so lucky as to have your ride get stuck so you can just shoot away!!! This happened to us 3 times on one ride, and was my best score ever (though I guess technically it's cheating).

I remember reading somewhere that you should keep the trigger button pressed down the whole time. I read this after our trip, so I din't know if it actually works

LOL! That happened to us right near a good target, the back of the robots left hand. Unfortunately before they started the ride up again, they cleared all the scores!
