buying resale

I think I read some where that if you buy resale you can not use those points for the Disney Cruise. Is that correct?

That is correct, you cannot use resale points (after March 2011) for Cruises, the Disney collection or adventures by Disney. All are not the best use of points so we were completely fine with only being able to your our points for DVC vacations (or an RCI trade but we would never have a reason to do this as of now)

Thanks for the reply. What is RCI and also can you use the points for Hawaii if you buy resale? Thanks again for your help!

RCI is another timeshare group from what I have figured out. It didn't interest me so I kind of didn't pay a lot of attention.

As for Hawaii you can use your points to stay at Aulani even with resale since it is a DVC resort!
