First how many tickets can we purchase per membership? Also do I need to be there with them? Do we still print them off so they could go without me? My son and his girlfriend are going to the Sunday night one on Oct. 16th.My daughter and her bf don't arrive until Tuesday and they are going that night. I am not sure if the rest of of us will go that night or on one of the other nights that week. TIA

When I ordered tickets online, they were linked to MDE right away but I also had hard tickets mailed, just to be safe. Back in 2011 when we needed 22 MNSSHP tickets my DH and I were allowed to buy 6 discount tickets each as DVC members and 6 tickets each as annual pass holders. Perhaps that policy has changed.

So you and your husband could buy 6 each? So I am assuming my husband needs to establish his own Disney log in in order to do this??

Since this was 5 years ago, there was no MDE. We bought the tickets at the concierge desk at BWV.

The MNSSHP tickets were linked to our MDE when we purchased over the phone, but we still needed to go to a ticket window to "activate" and pick the hard tickets up. We needed to show our DVC member card. I don't think you'll need to go to the party with them, but you will need to be there when the tickets are picked up.

I wonder why I was able to have the hard tickets mailed to me?

When we I bought the tickets for MNSSHP for this past Nov. I was able to actually print them off on the computer. They showed up on our magic bands I am pretty sure. However all of us were together for that party on the same night.

We just called the other day to add purchase ours. CM added it MDE and said it would be on our bands, But as a nice souvenir to stop by the ticket office before going in to get a hard ticket. You can get the special themed ones. Looking forward to it.

interesting-I haven't ordered yet this year but last year I ordered tickets online with DVC discount and had mailed to my house. The tickets sent were activated and I did not need to go to a ticket booth to activate. We were using them so it wouldn't have been a problem if we needed to show ID/DVC member card.

Special themed ones? Do you mean the new tickets with the ride pictures on them? I do not believe there are any Halloween themed ones if that's what you mean. Last year we got Mickey, Minnie, and Donald. I have seen posters on the MNSSHP thread say they have gotten the new style of tickets (pictures of different theme park rides)

The CM said there would be ones with the hitching ghosts and mentioned a few others

That's cool if it is true :)
I was disappointed last year they were generic but the posts I saw this year indicated the same thing
For those with questions about the MNSSHP Plastic RFID Cards received in mail...

INFORMATION

I ordered MNSSHP tickets on June 21st & received tickets yesterday, June 28th.
My cards - Crush, Magician Mickey & Spaceship Earth. SUPER COOL! Way better than the standard Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy.

Hi Everyone, long time lurker here. I just received my plastic MNSSHP tickets today, and the front design is completely different from last year's tickets. It seems like everyone this year got the same design as last year, which was different characters like Mickey, Goofy, Pluto, etc. Since I can't figure out how to attach my non-hosted photo, I'll describe it: front has "DisneyFastPass+" on the upper left, "Walt Disney World" on bottom center, and main design is a picture of different rides. Can anyone else confirm that they received a similar design? I fear they sent wrong tickets, but the back of the ticket states "MNSSHP 10/31/16 7PM-12AM Ages(10+)". TIA!

update: I purchased via phone if that makes any difference

I received the same boring green ones: Mickey, Donald, Goofy for 10/27 & 10/31! You are good to go - the back confirms it "MNSSHP 10/31/16 7PM-12AM Ages(10+)" Have a great trip!

Sweet! Maybe I'll see you on the 31st. No worries, New designs added this year (EE, HG, Spaceship Earth) for the Green Plastic RFID Cards. Posted several pages ago. Ill find them & add to Post #2.

I ordered online, MDE, & received new designs for 10/30. Received old ones for 10/31, ordered online too.

I'd love Halloween themed ones but I wonder if the CM was referring to the new tickets with attractions on them-there may be one with the haunted mansion and/or hitchhiking ghosts. We got a few of the new ones for the after hours event in May (tea cups and jungle cruise I honk)
