Buying IOA tickets at the park ?

We have planned to just visit IOA for 1 day, not doing Universal. However Ive just priced up the tickets and am now wondering if its worth it for one day. My eldest would like to see Harry Potter but as its our first trip to Florida Im wondering if we will have enough to do just with Disney, waterparks and seaworld.

I was thinking we could see how we feel and if we want to go get the tickets at the gate but will that be even more expensive ?

A 1 day, 1 park ticket is $84.14 incl tax (£56) If you wanted to hop it would cost $116 (£77) incl tax for 1 day.
The 1 day tix are really expensive compared to other tix, http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2501567 you can get 14 day tix for £82. Yesterday I renewed our Annual passes £106. Don't think I could pay £56 (£77to hop) for 1 day.
