Buying direct and resale add ons

I am a new member, bought direct from Disney. I am also waiting on a contract to get through ROFR from the resale market. If all goes well will I be able to manage my points from the same DVC member portal? Both contracts are the same use year and location? Any restrictions i should be concerned about?

If your contracts have the same names on the titles you will be able to use them with the same DVC account.

With the new resale restrictions, you won't be able to use your resale points at RRV or any other of the newer resorts going forward.

Your direct points will be under contract xxxxxxxx.0

The resale points will be under contract xxxxxxx.1

Both will appear under the same membership if they are

1. Titled the same
2. Have the same UY

They do not need to be at the same home resort but if you want to use them at the 11 month booking window, they each can only be used to book their home resort between 11-7 months. If they are at the same resort, their points can be combined at 11 months.

At 7 months, they can be combined to book anywhere even if they are not the same resort...unless the resort you're trying to book is Riviera. Your resale points cannot be used there or at any future resorts.
