Buying an AP

How would you recommend buying an Annual Pass? Beforehand web/call/store (I don't have a Disney Store near me)? Resort when we get there (Is it even possible at a resort)? Guest Services (which windows can they be bought at? Downtown Disney?)? I've never bought one before. Do they have your picture on them? They still do the 'finger scan' thing, right? Sorry for so many questions. I'm clueless.

If you are flying, you can purchase them at the Disney Store airport after you arrive. My husband and I did this last Labor Day Weekend. It didn't take very much time at all, and we could go straight to the parks when we were ready. We purchased the actual ticket there and not the voucher.

I just bought mine online and opted for the "will call". That means I go to the guest services window at one of the parks, hand them my confirmation numbers and ID and they will isssue the pass right there.
No picture, the first time you use it you will do the bio scan for your fingers.
I like the "will call" feature, one less thing to think about before I leave. The paperwork is in my travel folder and I am good to go.
No shipping cost either.
