buy one day ticket in advance or in lobby?

My family has annual passes. My mom is joining for one day at the magic kingdom. She already has a magic band and is on the hotel reservation and ADR but no ticket yet. Should I buy in advance and link her in my account and copy fastpasses or just buy her ticket in the lobby? Does it matter? I just want to keep it as simple as possible when we are there.

It may depend on what you want FP for and when. If you want A&E and maybe 7DMT then you probably should get it now so you can link it and get the FP. If those attractions don't matter to you then you may be okay to wait until arrival to purchase the ticket. Just keep in mind that you can only copy a FP if there is still a space available...if all of the spaces are taken, you will NOT be able to copy it.
