My predicition is this:
The coming election will come down to Florida again. . . except this time Bush will have a two million vote lead in the popular vote and the electoral vote is so close that who ever wins there. wins the majority and the election. . .
The vote will be extremely close in Florida again too. Although FOX will declare Bush the projected winner before the polls even open and the other networks follow along, as the night wears on all are forced to to admit it's actually too close to call. .
Around midnight of Election Day; with the tension so high it's almost too much to take, a huge story will suddenly develop!!!
It will be revealed that hundreds of affluent Republicans in the Orlando area are claiming their votes were thrown out because a team of UN Election Monitors said they didn't press down hard enough when they signed in. .
Pandemonium reigns. . lawyers fly in by the thousands. . suits are filed. . and finally it comes down to a vote in the Supreme Court to again decide the next President. . .
The justices will call an emergency session and work through the night. . and then the next morning their votes are reveled one by one. After eight justices speak, the vote is tied a 4-4. . . but Bush is suddenly relaxed and smiling because the one vote left to be counted is the vote of none other then Clarence Thomas. .
But then. . . Bush's smile will slowly turn to a look of horror.
Because with the whole country watching, Clerence Thomas will stand and say in a strong. clear voice, that he is siding with the UN People, and that John Kerry is the new president.
And while the now ex-appointed-President goes limp with shock, Thomas throws his fist up in a Black Power salute and screams; "I told you not to mess with the porn George!"
I also predict that despite all the uproar and hard feelings, Republicans near and wide will accept the decision as final, and follow the mature example of Rush Limbaugh and never mention the subject again. .
Although they won't always agree with Kerry, they will keep their opinions to themselves and only voice solid support for what ever Kerry does, because they respect the office, if not the man.
And showing that are the party of core values and not siuational ethics, when President Kerry nominates Hillary Clinton as the new Cheif Justice of the Supreme Court, Republican politicians will ask tough but fair questions, and then stoically accept her appointment because it's more important to fill the seat then to play politics with such an important position. . .
Yeah, right. . .
