Bush Will Win...

The time has come for you to come into the real world and understand that President Bush is your President, and was fairly elected to the office.

All independent organizations that recounted the votes, came away with the same conclusion. Bush WON FLORIDA. He got the most votes on all the recounts. Every single one of them.

You can cry and scream all you want, President Bush won the election. Pull your head out of the sand.

Get over it, believe it, accept it. But quite crying about it.

And by the way. Bush will be around for 4 more years, and he will carry Florida again.

You may be a little new here to the boards, so let me give you a little advise - be a little nicer and not so abrasive.

Here's my prediction:

The Hall of Presidents at the Magic Kingdom will be going down for refurbishment in January 05.

if kerry gets elected the whole country will go downhill and i dont care what anyone else thinks or whatever, its my opinion and bush is the person you want in office....i dont care if you disagree.
GO BUSH!!!!

Um, have you been reading the news these past four years, Travis?

Kerry-Edwards is our only hope of improving conditions in the country. Give the shrub four more years and we'll be in a sad state for sure.

And, BTW, we don't care if you don't care that we disagree. ;)

You've only got him/her beat by one month. His/her post count is lower than yours, but there is only a 1 month registration difference between you two.

That's it, you convinced me! I'm voting Bush. ;)

Keep telling yourself that

I think it would help if he'd click his heels together 3 times and chant "there's no one like Bush", "there's no one like Bush" over and over again.

Couldn't hurt....:D

I'm just honestly feeling bad for these Bush supporters that seem to be so on edge -- they must be losing sleep and their appetite -- and that's just not healthy! You guys take care of yourself; ya hear? We're worrying about you!!!

Thanks for your two cents... It does make a difference that I've posted more, obviously reading and responding to more posts. I apparently have a better feel for how to behave and choose my words on these boards which is undoubtly due to the fact that I have 4 times the amount of posts. Thanks...

My predicition is this:

The coming election will come down to Florida again. . . except this time Bush will have a two million vote lead in the popular vote and the electoral vote is so close that who ever wins there. wins the majority and the election. . .

The vote will be extremely close in Florida again too. Although FOX will declare Bush the projected winner before the polls even open and the other networks follow along, as the night wears on all are forced to to admit it's actually too close to call. .

Around midnight of Election Day; with the tension so high it's almost too much to take, a huge story will suddenly develop!!!

It will be revealed that hundreds of affluent Republicans in the Orlando area are claiming their votes were thrown out because a team of UN Election Monitors said they didn't press down hard enough when they signed in. .

Pandemonium reigns. . lawyers fly in by the thousands. . suits are filed. . and finally it comes down to a vote in the Supreme Court to again decide the next President. . .

The justices will call an emergency session and work through the night. . and then the next morning their votes are reveled one by one. After eight justices speak, the vote is tied a 4-4. . . but Bush is suddenly relaxed and smiling because the one vote left to be counted is the vote of none other then Clarence Thomas. .

But then. . . Bush's smile will slowly turn to a look of horror.

Because with the whole country watching, Clerence Thomas will stand and say in a strong. clear voice, that he is siding with the UN People, and that John Kerry is the new president.

And while the now ex-appointed-President goes limp with shock, Thomas throws his fist up in a Black Power salute and screams; "I told you not to mess with the porn George!"

I also predict that despite all the uproar and hard feelings, Republicans near and wide will accept the decision as final, and follow the mature example of Rush Limbaugh and never mention the subject again. .

Although they won't always agree with Kerry, they will keep their opinions to themselves and only voice solid support for what ever Kerry does, because they respect the office, if not the man.

And showing that are the party of core values and not siuational ethics, when President Kerry nominates Hillary Clinton as the new Cheif Justice of the Supreme Court, Republican politicians will ask tough but fair questions, and then stoically accept her appointment because it's more important to fill the seat then to play politics with such an important position. . .

Yeah, right. . . :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

;)

Willy, how silly. That would never happen in our country!

And if it did, of COURSE the Republicans would accept Kerry's nomination without hesitation or question! Why we would all be united under his leadership because we would all miraculously believe everything he had to say ... simply because he said it!

And a new theme song will be heard across the land, "And I think to myself, what a wonderful world ..."

;)

Great post, Will. :)

Not sure I agree with your reasoning, but yes, Bush will win!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :teeth:

I was surprised to see my thread on the board tonight. I thought it had died quietly. To my chagrin, I have been informed that this idea wasn't mine. Perhaps I heard it and subconsciously thought the idea was a Tizzy original. But that is a mute point. I wasn't planning a book on the idea or anything. But just the same, I believe the idea may hold water. But certainly we will never know.

I don't understand why snide comments must be made when a person disagrees with someone. Maybe I'm too sensitive. It seems like those of you who are democrats enjoy putting people down who don't agree with you. But I will admit that, as a republican, I probably don't notice it as often when it goes the other way. I try to respect everyone's opinion, even if I don't agree. And it saddens me that some people don't even have enough respect for the office of the president to call George Bush "The President". Not even enough respect to call him "Bush", instead it's "shrub". How can you convince someone you have intelligent views on today's political world when you resort to schoolyard antics? I didn't respect Bill Clinton. One of the main reasons I didn't respect him was fact that he lied to his wife. If he would lie to his wife, who he professes to love, probably vowed before God to love and respect her on their wedding day, why wouldn't he lie to the American people? But I still called him the president. So go ahead and flame me. It doesn't matter. Hopefully someone out there, who is undecided, will see and choose not to side with people who act immature. Thank you for allowing me to vent. Let the flaming begin...

I don't generally like to get involved in debates...I just wanted to respond to this. Firstly, you were correct when you said you probably don't notice as much when republicans act in an immature way. I think that both democrats and republicans may act immaturely (just using your word, i guess its the best description), as that is something that is linked to the specific person and not their political beliefs. You really cannot generalize either way and say that all democrats are immature. I apologize if that's not what you intended, that's how it came off to me.

Secondly, I definately don't believe any person who is undecided should base their decisions on who to vote for by any of the posts I've seen in this particular thread. They should try to research each candidate to find out who's beliefs match closest to their own. It really comes down to who the person wants to entrust their four years with, and not any biased (its hard not to be when you believe so strongly in "your side") nonfactual opinions they might read here.

Just my opinion....hope I'm not causing any trouble :) Like I said, I dont usually debate! haha :wave2:

I saw this in the New York Times a few days ago... it's a true classic.

"The pressure may be getting to Mr. Bush. He came up with a gem of a Freudian slip yesterday. At a signing ceremony for a $417 billion military spending bill, the president said: 'Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.'

Gotta love our President!

How much I hope I can read quotes like these for the next four years :D

Oh, and although I am 15, I promise Kerry supporters that I would be voting for him if I could...even coming from a highly conservative town where the Bushes live/d. I personally do not care so much for Kerry either, although at this point there would be few whom I would not prefer over George W. Bush.

mariamouse

p.s. Bush has a lower IQ than the average American...sad:eek:
