Busdriver Attacked By Guest

Did anyone ever find out the reason for this guest to attack the bus driver? From watching the video it looked liked the bus driver told him he had to wait in the back of the bus or he had no choice but to stand since there were no more seats, at least that's what I thought after seeing it.

The best I could determine was that the guy was waiting first in "line" (or thought he was) and either (a) the bus driver told him to wait until others got off or (b) others got on before him. That's a wild guess.

If the jedi didn't intervene and he did have his light saber ready for action (first 8 seconds), the situation must have been under control. That's probably why the other men didn't get involved.

At 6 seconds the jedi sensed a disturbance in the force.

Which is why he blew up, and choked the bus driver who, I'm quite sure, hit him first, and probably tried to trip him, and give him a noogie, as well. - AS THE VIDEO STARTS I SEE THE GUY MOVE TOWARDS THE BUS DRIVER WHO MAKES THE FIRST AGGRESSIVE MOVE BY PUSHING THE OTHER GUY AWAY BEFORE THE CHOKING STARTS. ALSO I PREFER TO REFER TO NOOGIES AS CHINESE HEAD MASSAGES

Well, the police knew enough to charge him, and now it's up to the courts.

Because the security personnel is typically trained to step in only when needed. I assure you that person was within several feet of the bus driver with an eye on the situation (and perhaps a finger on whatever might have been in his pocket...pepper spray, most likely).

I doubt he would have used pepper spray in such close quarters. This would hit everyone on the bus, not just the subject. It's too dangers for such close contact with everyone packed onto the bus like that... and with minors so close by. I think I see who the undercover was, but out of safety/identity protection I won't say.

What worries me the most in this situation is the lack of a reaction by the mother during and post incident. She doesn't seem shocked that this had happened, or appalled at her husband for causing a scene. I wonder if this isn't the first time he has escalated to violence against someone for not having things go his way. I hope the OSCO investigates this fully. I wouldn't be surprised if he's started fights with other people in the past. Add that onto child endangerment for throwing the baby, as well as maybe running with child abuse (whatever the law is in FL on this) for using the child as a weapon.... I hope he learns his lesson. Big time.

The guy was out of order not probably definitely. Unless the bus driver threw a punch at him. No reasonable reason to throw your child and strangle a bus driver.

From the video description and other posts... the bus was full, so he told them he'd call in another bus to pick them up and the other guests still in line.

Definitely! I'll bet they were all mad at him because he was a part of a large tour group that took all the TSM FPs for the day, he was using a refillable mug from 2006 and he line jumped all day; so that was their way at getting back at him.

They probably pool-hopped, too!!!!

You'd be surprised how much paper work is put into to get a charge on someone. They can't just point at someone, say HEY YOU! I'M CHARGING YOU WITH ___ then go on with their day. There's a lot to it if someone is charged, solid proof.

Well then that's no reason for this guest to do what he did, because then it was obvious that he wasn't the only one waiting in line.
