Bus system w/GPS...

For those who go to WDW a lot and would notice the difference, is the bus transportation around WDW any better since the implementation of the GPS system that was put in place in the last year or two.

I know what you're talking about - some kind of dynamic scheduling thing they were implementing, right (not sure about how the GPS ties into that exactly). But I was under the impression that they had never implemented or fully implemented whatever the plan was. I could be wrong though - maybe one of our DIS transportation CMs knows better.

Not sure I understand what it is you're referring to, what GPS system was put into effect in the last year or two.
I haven't noticed any major improvements in the last couple of years.
I don't see how a GPS system would improve the Bus transportation system.

I thought I remembered reading that they were going to put some sort of GPS tracking devices in the buses that would allow for better bus efficiency throughout WDW.

LOL - thanks! How come it's only people on the Transportation board that seem to notice that? Must be a more sympathetic class over here - oh, no, there's no pixie dust on the transportation board!

There will be more trips eventually - just need to let the DVC points and the bank balance build up for a while!
