My daughter is on her senior class trip this weekend to WDW. She has to be back at All-stars for check-in at 10PM.

She is having dinner at Kona Cafe. By what time does she have to leave Kona Cafe to get a bus at the TTC to get back to All Stars by 10?

In other words, how often do the buses run from TTC to All Stars, and how long is the trip?

We have always had a car when we were there and didn't pay much attention to the bus schedules or timing.

Thanks...

She can't.
They don't.
IF Magic Kingdom is open late enough (8:30 or so, or later) she can take the monorail to the MK then the bus from there to her resort. I'd allow at least an hour.
If the MK isn't open that late (say, 6 PM), she will need to take a bus to an open park or Downtown Disney, and switch there to the AS bus.

Or, she could take a taxi. That would be fastest, but obviously most expensive. She could probably stay at Kona until close to 9:30.

Otherwise, I'd allow at LEAST an hour to get back to the hotel.

I assume the 10:00p is a group curfew. Is there a problem if she's a few minutes late? If she has to wait for a monorail to the MK and then wait for a bus at the MK it could easily take an hour. A cab is the best solution if she can't be late.

She should be able to catch the monorail from the TTC (a relatively short walk from the next-door Polynesian) to Epcot, and a bus back to All-Stars from there. Epcot will be open until 9 p.m. (and then there's Illuminations), so buses will still be running from that park until after the time she has to get back.

Buses and monorails will run frequently, as the park empties at closing, but will be crowded. I'd certainly leave Kona at least by 9 p.m., as you have the walk to the TTC, monorail, and then the bus to catch, or earlier if she is concerned about possibly being even a few minutes late.

Thanks... all.

I remember there used to be a web site someone set up where you could enter your "from" and "to" and it would offer the best way and the time it would take. Anyone know what that is?

Thanks....

I agree leave at least an hour travel time! We came home on Monday and missed the Magic Express shuttle back to airport because of a bus problem!

That site never updated the information and has a lot of wrong information.

This may be to late to help, but the MK is open till 2am tonight. The buses will run until at least 3am and the express monorail will run until the all clear is given. There is no problem getting from the Poly to the MK and then to the All Stars. Like everyone else has said, plan on 1 hour travel time to be safe.
