Bus From Resort to Parks for ADR in the a.m.?

What time does the bus start running from resorts to the parks? Just wondering if I'll need to drive my car if I need to get there in time for an early ADR!

For early morning breakfasts in the parks you can take the resort "character buses". They begin running to MK around 6:30am (although others report 6 to 615). To Epcot, AK, and DHS, they begin to run around 7am.

We had pre rope drop ADR's for all the parks and had no problems using Disney transportation to get to them all on time (or mostly on time)

FYI - for MK, you can't get into the park before 745am. You can get there before that to get through security and get in line.

FYI (2) - If you are going to the Princess Breakfast at Epcot - be sure to give yourself a good bit of time for the walk. It's a long way back to Norway. It took us a good 10-15 minutes to walk it from the entrance (with 2 kids DD2.5 and DD6)

You didn't mention where you are staying. If you are anywhere at the Epcot resorts and need to go to Norway for the princess breakfast, you have to go to the front entrance. The only way to do that would be to drive your car or take a cab.

You would give your name to a person a the front and they have a list of all the early ADR's for the day.

I just booked a meal for AK and it is at 8:35 with a park opening at 9. Do I need to let the concierge know that I need the bus for the character meal? (I'll be at BLT) Thanks. I had second thoughts about booking it because of transportation but this thread was exactly what I was looking for!

Not true! We've stayed at BC/YC three times with an ADR for first seating at the Princess Storybook Breakfast. We were always allowed to go through the IG gate. They also had a list of names of people with reservations for the breakfast.

We had an 8:35 ADR at LTT last week, and we were on the bus at POR ny 7:45am. No issues, and only a 5 minute wait for the bus. We were seated at LTT by 8:05 am, and done eating by 8:55. Beware if you eat there, to keep your table until 9am on the dot, since we were done 5 minutes early they escorted us back out of the park and to the castle. I was a little disappointed not to get to walk into an empty fantasy land and be first on a ride ( although we were still the first of the day on Peter Pan )

You should be able to catch your character breakfast bus to AK at the Contemporary Resort with no problems. If it makes you feel better, ask the concierge to make sure, but the buses should run from all Disney properties. From what I understand about BLT, you catch all your transportation at the Contemporary.

FYI - We had 850am ressies at AK. We got there farily early (around 825am) and were seated right away!

Have someone grab you FP for the safari ride @ 9am if you aren't close to being finished. We finished our meal around 910am and walked to the safari ride with a 20 minute wait (not bad).
