While I booked quite a few 180 day out ADRs when I was able to (CRT, Tusker House, Crossroads HOB) I didn't know anything about the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party and now I am so BUMMED! :sad1: Nothing available for us the night we will be at MK of course...guess I will have to continue checking up until the day we are there for a cancelation. Either way I could just kick myself!

I would of been in your same situation if I had not read on this board about booking 180 out. Also I think it's a hard book since one seating a day then add in the 10+ days reservations and it makes for a hard to get reservations.
I sure hope you are able to get a reservation in the months to come ... Maybe when full payments at due for booking packages some may become available.

I say grab a Mickey bar and a funnel cake, get a FP+ for Wishes and have your own dessert party on the lawn!

You may also consider getting parkhopper and that will open you window for Dessert Party since you can hop over to MK another night.

Keep trying - I didn't know a thing about any Disney planning at all until last year and thought I was up on it trying to make dining reservations at 80 days out until I found this site... And then I still didn't know about the dessert party until 60 days out and, of course, it was already taken!

Just keep a web page open to the Tomorrowland reservation page for the date you want and keep hitting it whenever you're near the computer. With a little magic and luck...

Thankfully I got an email about the 180 day window opening and I decided to book the other ones, this was before I ever came on the Dis so it was kind of just luck! Should have really researched more but I didn't start worrying about having a good fireworks view until recently.

Will definitely refresh frequently when I'm on the computer. Thanks everyone! Pixie dust pleassssssssssse universe!!!!

Unfortunately we are only doing 3 park days and two are already at MK (one is MNSSHP so it won't be available that day). To avoid burnout I don't think we will do the park hopper. I might just have us view the fireworks at the Ticket & Transportation Center Dock.

Love this idea! We just kinda worked out the schedule to be able to try for a dessert party after I had said no before. I'm mad at myself because I really enjoyed it last time. However, if we get in, we get in. If not, we'll have our own party. :)

I personally don't think it's much of a loss for you. After having done it last year with my DD, we've decided that we much prefer to watch from the Hub area to get the full impact of the fireworks and castle display, buy a treat we really like to eat, bare with the crowds, and save money in the process.

I had missed the 180 day mark for the dessert party and only decided in around 100 days out to try and find one. After a couple of days, I hit on an opening for one of my nights, but it was for 3 people (we're only a party of 2). I booked it and then called and they were easily able to cancel off the 3rd person for me. I think I got lucky and hit on a party of 3 cancellation.

So, keep trying and try different party sizes and adjust it down if required. You may get lucky yet! Good luck!

Same here. For years, it was 30-60 days ahead. It is my fault not checking for the most updated info.

While search for an alternative dining option today, I found IllumiNation Dessert Party. It is offered few days a week (Wednesday, Saturday??) It is quite pricey: $176 for 3 adults and 1 kid. Now I'm debating to do that or a specialty cruise.

Ditto. Did it a couple of years ago and yes it was a different experience but not worth the cost for basic desserts. Stop and get a Mickey Bar or a Dole Whip and watch from the hub. Much more budget friendly and a much better view.
