Buffy Season Premiere TONIGHT!

Any predictions? Will Xander and Anya get back together or will Xander and Willow begin a new romance? Spike has his soul back, will Buffy accept him? Will Dawn develop Slayer strength and kick butt this season?

I'm thinking if Dawn was created from the blood of the Slayer then she MUST have some kind of Slayer strength, right? I think we might have a spinoff to look foward to next year since it's rumored that this is Buffy's last season.

Any other thoughts or opinions?

I heard this year will be much lighter than in the past..I can't wait for Spike to come back with his soul!!
I love Spike!!

I know that Willow will be in England with Giles for a while recovering from the whole "evil" thing ( at least for a few episodes) and I heard that Tara wil be making some guest spots this season too!!Can't wait to see how they work that in...

Bring on Buffy! I can't wait!

Okay, what did you think of the show tonight?

Did you gals see Spike??? Can we say "Hottie"? He looked so Hot with that crazy-like curly hair.

Didn't quite understand the ending though. If anyone out there understood it could you please fill me in??? I know they were going through all of the villans in Buffy's past but then why was Buffy at the end? And was Spike dreaming that or what? I was totally confused.

The show was great! Spike looked TOTALLY HOT!

You can add Dh and me to the confused list....I know that when Angel got his soul back he was a little crazy because he had to deal with all the lives ruined for years. Maybe our poor Spike is just a little loopy right now. I hope they have him "back to norma;" soon though.

I LOVE Spike!!

I told DH that I can't possibly have my baby on a Tues. night LOL!

My dd and I thought the same thing about Spike, he's a little nutso because of the soul/conscience thing plus whatever evil is lurking near the hellmouth is working on him. Looks like it is going to be an interesting season. Heard on one of those entertainment shows (ET, Extra) that Faith will be back this season too.

Ohhhh....now I "heard" that Faith will be one a bunch of episodes of Angel ( like 3-5) I think that was in Entertainment Weekly. can't remember this early in the morning!!

I hope Faith doesn't come back evil. I'd like to see her and Buffy be buddies again. I liked watching the fight side by side.

I used to love Buffy, it was interesting and witty with great acting. But I think the addition of Dawn and the loss of Giles, (in fact half of the original cast) really hurt the show.
We decided to stop watching it this year.

I also read that Faith will be coming back for some episodes. The rumor on one of the Buffy boards was that she might be a possible replacement for SMG if she decides not to sign on for another season.

Hey, Giles isn't gone. He was in the credits last night so I'm assuming that he's staying on this season. The only other person that left was Oz but he wasn't really an "original" member anyway.

Its been confirmed on one of the Buffy sites that Giles will be around for awhile, but he's listed in the "Also Starring" credits. I like Giles, so I hope he sticks around for awhile.

Saw this on a bio for Spike and had to LOL!

Marsters made his stage debut as Eeyore in a fourth grade production of "Winnie the Pooh" and went on to study acting at Julliard.

All through the episode everyone mentioned that something is rising from the Hellmouth.
The end of the show shed some light as to what is rising.
To me it look a lot like the First Evil from Season 3 when it took the forms of some of Angels victims. This time the First Evil took the forms of BtVS "Big Bads" in order from Season 6 - Season 1. Taking Buffy's form was just a way to show Spike how much power it has over him. IMO

I am just loving the way this season started out. I am glad to see a more confident Xander again. It looks like it may take a while for Willow to come to terms with her abuse of power and she still hasn't addresses the fact that Tara is dead. Dawn was not so whinny, maybe we'll see some "Key" action this season.
