Buena Vista Palace Hotel & Spa?

Anyone stayed there before? It is directly across from Downtown Disney.

Just wondering what it is like. Is the access to the theme parks good? It says on the website that a shuttle is available to all parks.

We may have a business trip there in the Fall at this hotel and if so wanted to take the family. We always stay at one of the WDW resorts closer to the parks. Never stayed at Downtown Disney so I don't know much about it.

We could always stay somewhere else and travel over to this hotel for the meetings. I want my family to be happy with the accomodations as well. We have 2 small children so this hotel may not be suitable.

What other resorts would be close by? We stayed at CSR last trip and loved it.

I don't think you would be disappointed. This hotel is on Disney property, directly across the street from DTD which is great. The bus service runs all day and night for an hour or two after park closing. The buses are clean and a lot more comfortable than those of Disney, and provide service to all four Disney parks. The lobby is elegant, with lots of room to sit, maybe enjoy a drink while playing cards or talking with other guests.

The hotel itself is beautiful. Most, if not all rooms have balconies, are spacious and very comfortable. Our room overlooked DTD, facing the magic kingdom which allowed us to see the nightly fireworks from our balcony.
