Budget Pre-Registration question

Have just tried to login to budget to register this morning but keep getting an advance notice restriction. We're due to pick the car up at 5pm tomorrow evening - when can I register, is it restricted to 24hrs before pickup? I'm hoping one of you on here will know the answer to my question - Thanks in advance

Don't know if they have any restictions on time but are you using the correct link (below) its not on the Budget site.

Yes thats the site I've been trying to use as I stored it in my favourite's when you said in a previous thread. Car booked through usrentacar.co.uk and this is the message thats still coming up even now:-

"We apologize however we are unable to process your registration at this time due to an advance notice restriction. "

I'm still a little over 24hrs before pickup - is there a time limit?

Also, when I try to do this online it gives me an error message that it cannot process the registaraion due to an advance notice restriction. What does that mean?

The error message you get means you are too late to pre-register. Budget usually require 7-10 days notice for pre-registration.

Note, the pre-registration system is provided by Budget, so we can not offer any support on this.

Oh right - seems daft registering 7-10 days out if something happens and you end up cancelling! Oh well will have to queue up I guess. Thanks for looking!
