Bubble Guns??? Allowed or not allowed?

HI all!!

Just wondering what the current deal is with bubble guns? Are they still banned? I had bought bubble guns to bring with me before the ban happened and was wondering if I can pack them or not. THANKS for all your help and advice

Bubble guns still seem banded. All bubble guns were reimagined to bubble wands and I didn't see any back in June.

People had them in the park in April. Please don't bring them into the park. They are very annoying for the people around you who don't want to get covered in bubbles.

It looks like a wand with a big globe on the top and bubble come out of the top of the globe.

I saw lots of bubble wands and actually thought the redesign was great as the bubbles went up and not out so to say.

Parents use to occupy their kids. Personally I never gave them to kids (even though we love bubbles at home etc) and I hate them being blasted around me in lines etc.

Not only are they annoying to those around you, they can make the ground dangerously slick.

Same reason people bring water into the park, to avoid paying big Disney $$$ for something Disney sells in the parks.

Seriously? My daughter is super sensitive to some chemicals (we have to use speciality/hypoallergenic products for her and all of her clothes) and she's had little rashy welts pop up on her skin from bubbles. The thought of having to bubble-dodge never even crossed my mind.

We left our 2 kids outside RRC while we used our FP 2 years ago. ( the oldest is 14-so 12 at the time) They bought a bubble gun from the cart while they were sitting there waiting for us. We spent the rest of the day getting blasted with bubbles and left with sticky legs. It remained in our room for the rest of the trip. It seemed like they were everywhere and I felt parents thought it was cute that their kids were blasting strangers with bubbles. Like in line!! Not cute at all. If they banned them, I'm glad.

Now maybe it is just me, but when I think about bringing any kind of soap bubble device into the parks, I immediately imagine the stuff leaking all over everything and making a sticky mess.

We're minimalists when it comes to carrying anything around all day, but if I was going to carry any kind of toy, I'd bring something very tiny, lightweight, and non-messy.

Y'all all realize that the bubble wands are being used by CM in most every park all the time? It's not just guests that are blasting you with bubbles. We find more CM with them than we do kids quite honestly.

Also not saying it doesn't happen but I've also never been blasted with bubbles in a malicious way. I've seen kids having fun in wide open spaces or kids using them from their strollers but I've never seen or had a child in line shoot bubbles at close range. If that was to happen I would say something to the parents.

I will say I bought one at Fantasmic one year because they were for sale, I was bored, and heck it is my money so yeah I bought one. When I got back to my seat the woman in front of me very nastily said I better not shot that thing or she'd show me what she thought of them. I was taken aback! I had no plans on shooting bubbles at her and was on the isle where CMs and kids were already using them anyways. I couldn't believe a grown adult had threatened someone over a bubble gun! I didn't use it because I am not the confrontational type but I did use it in open spaces around the park as I left and then just goofing off at the walk ways around our resort. Yes I was 25 then and still really enjoyed bubbles. I even took it home to use to play with the dogs who love to pop them haha.

Actually no I didn't know this. Granted it's been a couple years since I've been, but I have no recollection of this happening at all.

Funny that so many people get all worked up about a bubble gun yet I have never heard anyone complain about the bubble snow that falls at MVMCP. The bubble snow is magical and wonderful but God forbid a bubble that someone blows or shoots form a bubble gun flies within 20 feet of them.
