Brothers & Sisters Season 2 (tv show spoilers possible)

You can always rewatch the eppy free on abc.com.

Ok, I'm not sure about the Rebecca thing either. BUT! They have been playing up Joe's possible "extra activity" lately. So I wouldn't be shocked if it was true. I mean think about it, would Sarah really believe her newly found half sister over her husband?

I love this show!!!!! I got into it a few weeks ago but I'm so hooked. I loved game night last night. :lmao:

I'm digging up the B&S thread. Is anyone but me still watching?

I started watching a couple of minutes into the show (as I honestly forgot it was on). Kitty was asking Sen. McAllister if anyone else knew the whole story about what happened on the helicopter in Kuwait. Apparently, he had told her something that no one else but his co-pilot knew. Can anyone fill me in on what it was that I missed, please?

I too watch every single episode!!!

What I recall of the whole helicopter thing was....when Sen. was over in the war he was in a helicopter in enemy territory. He managed to rescue several guys behind enemy lines and get out. The truth is he wanted to get the heck out of their and his co-pilot felt they were already there that they should proceed with rescue even though they were taking heavy fire. The sen. blacked out and the only thing he remembers is waking up and wanting/needing to get the heck out. He feels that is was more of a feeling of defeat than heroics as he didn't do anything other than retreat and try to escape a situation. Everyone else thinks that he rescued these men and it the picture was painted of him being a hero. He never told anyone about it (the co-pilot is dead so nobody else knows the truth) till he disclosed to Kitty why he didn't want it in the speech - it wasn't the true picture and he felt that it was grandstanding.

This was another great episode. I can't help but think that Rebecca is setting Joe up. Sarah has been the one causing Rebecca and her mother so much trouble that I can't help but think that maybe this is a little payback. Maybe Joe did kiss her but even if he did I think Rebecca instigated it to start trouble and when we see what realy happened it will probably show his pulling back and questioning her actions.

Still watching, it is definitely one of my favorite shows.

I am not sure what to think about the Rebecca/Joe thing, if she is stirring the pot or if it happened. I think either possibility will make for a great story line.

I think it happened....she mentioned her much older boyfriend in chicago and then when they were sitting close....I don't think it will stay a secret much longer.

The helicopter thing wasn't very clear but last week he was giving a speech and he got off the stage and told Kitty that he didn't want to talk about the helicopter and it shouldn't have been in the speech, he was kind of mad about it being in the speech.... well fast forward to the end of the show and during the I love you scene he has said something like he wasn't a hero during the helicopter crash, people just assumed he was and he never said no he wasn't.

This week Kitty wanted to make sure no one else knew the story.

Thank you both for the helicopter storyline information.

I'm glad to see that others like this show too. This coming Sunday's show is a repeat. The next new episode will run on Sunday, April 29th.
Here's a little spoiler for anyone who's interested (highlight if you'd like to read):

SARAH AND JOE'S MARITAL TROUBLES REACH A CRITICAL POINT,
ON ABC'S "BROTHERS & SISTERS"

"Bad News" - Sarah finds it very difficult to get past her husband's alleged indiscretions with another woman, and Kitty and Robert reach an impasse as the shock of the tragic accident sinks in, on "Brothers & Sisters," SUNDAY, APRIL 29 (10:02-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

I don't know whether Joe actually kissed Rebecca or not, but I swear during a commercial for the episode they showed him kiss her.

I think the Joe character is gross, I cant imagine being attracted to him.:scared:

So, Rebecca DID want to kiss him and more! I wonder what is going to happen with Sarah and Joe's marriage.
The previews looked good--Holly kissing Nora's date!!

Rebecca only told because she's a woman scorned. Shame on her! Just like her mother! ;)

She wanted that kiss more than he did. She wanted more IMO!! He said it shouldn't of happened and stopped the whole situation. I personally don't care for the guy, but in the end they showed what actually happened (the whole kissing scene) and I think he wants the marriage to work. Who knows....they sure said a lot of things during Sara's confrontation.

I love this show!!!

Joe is gross but Rebecca is turing evil. I really think the Walker's are trying w/her too.

Like mother, like daughter indeed.

I'm liking Kitty and the Senator. Justin and Kevin are my favs too.

Last nights episode did not disappoint!

Joe & Sarah - even though they are at crossroads right now, I hope they work things out - sounds like they both have issues that need serious help. I think the truth will come out about what really happened and even though he initiated the kiss, Rebecca was only too willing to go along and wanted more. Although what Joe did is wrong, I don't think it is unforgiveable and he did put a stop to it. Funny how Holly confronted Sarah about the whole thing (keep your wandering husband away from my daughter!) and yet again caused a rift in the family but KNEW that Rebecca has a tendency to start things with the "wrong men." - notice how Sarah came to her own conclusions that Joe was guilty instead of thinking maybe the "other womanand her child" were causing yet another argument in the family. Loved the line from Rebecca about not being like her mother - ah, yeah ok, NOT!

Kitty & the Senator - Love their interaction. I really felt for them when they found about the helicopter crash. Sometimes a show does such a real job in portraying ones feelings that you have to remember that it isn't real! When Kitty was watching the burning helicopter on the television it was a moment that made 1 think. You could tell that she was thinking that it could have been them and that she made the campaign writer get on that helicopter.

Absolutely LOVE Nora - she just seems so knowledgeable and yet so naive at the same time. I don't think I would have the strength or compassion to welcome my husbands love child into my family nor do I think I would go out with my professor, esp. when he has proven that he is a jerk and yet she does it with class. She is my favorite character and I find her complex.

Although I like all the characters, I find the gay brother to be a little whiny and melodramatic. Whoa is him and his torrid love affairs. He has no-one because he is too busy being a playboy and going out with a different flavor of the week. He claims he wants a real relationship but I think he's too busy bedhopping with whatever cutie passes him instead of committing to a relationship.

Had to find this thread again...
The part at the engagement party was sooooo funny! The Macarana! Then the tent falling down!
What about before when the 2 guys were making out in the kitchen!

It was Kevin and the minister!!! "sucking face"!!!
I can't believe Justin just walked out to go back to Iraq!

I want to be a sister of the Walker Family. WHAT A GREAT GROUP OF CHARACTERS!!!!

Have a Magical Disney Day!!

OMG, so that sort of explains why Saul never married. But what about he & Holly..they seemed to be pretty heavy into the dating scene for a few episodes?

That was a great episode, I am so looking forward to next season.

I agree that was a great finale... I'm glad Kitty & Nora found Justin.... what was he thinking! Robert's family is a bit odd to say the least...
