Happy Birthday Drew!
I hate hearing your summer dates are around the fourth.... we will just probably be back from WDW, so no DIS meet!
Enjoy your day off.... I am playing the guess how many are well and at school game this past two weeks, while wrapping up the first quarter. Hard to do when kids have been out for over a week!
If I do all four weeks of summer school, then we wouldn't be able to leave until the second about midday. I'm thinking of getting someone to cover for me for the last couple of days so that we can leave on the 30th. It's still just in the planning stages, but I have to wedge it in between summer school and church camp.
I am not looking forward to going back to school on Monday.
Hopefully we will be booking soon for next summer -- it's hard not knowing when the Harry Potter theme park is going to happen for sure because that is the one thing Connor wants to do more than anything else. I am about ready to take my chances though.
Happy Birthday to Drew!
I hope it works out for Connor to see all that. I'm hoping a LOT of people will be at Universal in the summer and Disney World will have a little lighter summer crowds. Selfish, I know, but wishful thinking to help our summer trip be a little nicer.
i won't be there until christmas. why don't i send you a check which will include the money for the toys plus about $8 for shipping so you can send it to me? i think that should cover it. do you think so? you don't have to ship the one you got for my future baby, i will just get that from you the next time i see you. thanks again! and what a deal!!!
this made me cry, but in a good way!!! ray and i have always considered adopting and this makes me want to do it even more someday.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DREW!!!
I could get it to your mom or sister, if you'd like. I live right on the exit, as you know, so it would be very easy for them to get to me, or I could meet them somewhere. I bet we cross paths around here off and on, anyway, and don't even know it. Just sometime when they happened to be going to Kohl's or Target, I could meet them there or they could run by here. Think about it a little bit and we can PM specifics. It'll save you the postage and I won't have to wrap it. It's going to need a box to protect it, since it's soft-sided. Unless you're just in a hurry for it, it can sit right here until you (or they) can get to it. Just think about it and let me know.
If I could do any job in the world, I would love to be the one who got to bring babies and children to their new families. The guy who traveled with Drew from Korea was so nice. He told us how everyone on the plane oohed and aahed over Drew. The stewardesses got off the plane to see the babies come to their families. Passengers and their families (you could meet passengers at the gate back then) stayed to watch the babies get off. They had to get off last for whatever reason, so the drama built. We were all standing around with cameras, which made others stop, thinking there was a celebrity on this plane or something!

I think it would be a very rewarding job to do.
Welcome Back MeMom,Jill, Brooklyn and Bella !
Thanks for already sharing some details of your Halloween trip , sounds like fun was had by all

The picture of Brooklyn on TT is priceless !

I really enjoyed all the pictures from inside Tony's and never new that gift shop , memorabilia area was there , will def have to check it out on our next trip ! Can't wait to here more about your WDW adventures !
Happy Birthday Drew !!
That's the fun of trip reports - showing things that are new along with the usual things everyone knows about. I hope you will get a chance to go in that area in Tony's. Later in the trip, I took the others back, so you will see more later. There are some cute little photo ops back there.
I am glad you had a safe trip. It sounds like you had a great trip. I love the picture of Brooklynn. I hope you and Jill get to take your weekend trip together. It is rare that you get to spend time alone with your mother when you become a mother.
That is true. As much as I love those girls, and as much as Jill loves those girls, sometimes I'd like to just have my own girl alone for a short time. I know she would not want to be away for long. I never wanted to be away from my kids. It would just be very short and very fun!
MeMom, Tell Drew eveyone is Disland says Happy Birthday. And to you I say congratulations (even though it was hard at times) on raising 3 wonderful kids. I know you are proud of each and everyone of them.
I can't wait to hear more about your trip. Brooklynn face was priceless on the TT ride. I wonder what Bella was thinking when she saw all these big animals running around the park. I can't wait to take Ty.
I did tell Drew. He laughed and shook his head. He thinks the Dis thing is pretty funny. He doesn't have a clue about what it is about, really. I did stop him and show him his greetings, though. I also showed him that the DIS has a Photography Board. I scrolled through it and told him he should check that out sometime.
I know you are looking so forward to taking Ty!
Happy Birthday Drew! Your words were so sweet and had me tearing up.
It's a mom thing. We tear up over anything that has to do with kids.
Nope we're not. I just don't feel like it'd be the same without Mom,Dad, and Sis. Which is also why we're not eating at 1900 PF or Chef Mickey's this trip either. I'm such a sap.
Aw..happy birthday Drew! That was such a nice post to him.
By the way, Happy Friday!
I understand completely. This will be a different kind of trip for you.
Happy birthday to Drew!
Oh, Kona. That was one place I wanted to go but I don't think my sister would be able to find anything to her liking. I can't remember if I told you, but I finally decided I wanted to eat at 1900 PF for dinner, because we will all get a kick out of the stepsisters.
Happy Friday!
The stepsisters will be great, I'm sure. When we rode the Teacups at the Halloween Party the other night, they stopped and were screaming at everyone on the ride.
Kona was soooo good!

I love the pictures from Tony's! That area with the movie screen is so neat! I think it would be a great place to take a quiet, cool break!!
I love your post about Drew MeMom! It was so heartwarming and touching! I hope he has a great birthday!!
You are exactly right. There were only two people in there when I was there the first time, and just a handful when I took Jill back later to show her. My first thought, with having Bella, was that it is a great place to nurse a baby or let a little one sit and have a snack out of the crowds and heat for a little while.
Drew hung out with friends. They were going to see a movie, but I'm not sure what they saw. I was asleep when he got in.

More responses later. I have to get to the grocery store. I like to go before the crowd gets there. Kind of like rope drop!
