Isn't that the truth. We were watching home videos from about 5 years ago the other day. I can't believe how fast my little baby boys have grown. It truly makes our Disney memories more special.

I still get tears when I look at pictures of my little kids. When I hold Bella, it's just like holding Trent, because she is so much like him. When I am playing with Brooklynn, it's just like it was 'me and Jill' again, as it was many years ago. She was playing with some of her mommy's old Fisher Price toys this weekend, as a matter of fact. I guess her next baby will be artistic, like Drew.

I know it was hot. It's been hot everywhere in the south, I think. I hope it is not quite this hot when we go, because that'll make it hard to stay out long with Bella. We'll just go with the knowledge that we may only be able to go out in short spurts.

Have a great day, everyone! Our trip gets closer and closer. Drew and I went to the mall yesterday and he got four pairs of shorts, three t-shirts, and new flip-flops for the trip, so it looks like he really does plan to go. We're still looking for tennis shoes. He's particular about his shoes. He's wanting some Nikes, but they have to be to his exact specifications.

Jill will be ready for the trip after having been back at work and juggling work, home, and kids for a while again. I hope the heat wave subsides a teeny bit, so that it won't be so hard on Brooklynn and Bella.

Trent will much enjoy his break, because he works three jobs, and anybody who works three jobs deserves to relax!

We're close to moving over into the 20's, so that's exciting!

Anyway, thanks for another day of friendship, guys. We enjoy hanging around here with you all!

It is 31 days to go and the picture of the day was taken in November. As we were leaving the Christmas shop in MK we ran into Meeko. He was so funny and spent a lot of time with Brooklynn. When she handed him her autograph book he turned it all around looking at it and then proceeded to "eat" it. She thought that was hilarious! That is all she talked about for the rest of the trip "Meeko eat my book!"

Have a great Wednesday everyone! Going to work all day and VBS at night is starting to exhaust me, but only 3 more days this week and the next week we only work four days because we are off Friday in honor of the 4th of July. Then back to work for 2 full weeks and then 3 days because we are closed on the 23rd and 24th for some teachers to go to an out of town training. So that means I have two days off before we leave on the 25th to do laundry and pack.

Loved the pictures of POR and FQ we stayed at FQ in '07 and loved it! Jill wasn't feeding that precious girl to that gator was she? For now I'll just think that Brooklynn was practicing for dental school.......

Yes, I admit it I have spoiled him way too much.


On the plus side....Aaron got another job, so he can once again buy his own stuff. I encouraged him to try and save some $ for our trip, I know how much he loves the Nike Outlet.
He has convinced himself if he saves his money for a motorcycle, he can get one.....I told him there's no way unless it's a moped....he called me a joker! We had this discussion last year. I can only hope this desire of his fades away and he wants a car like a 'normal' teenager.

I'm here MeMom and Jill!! I love the TR title and I love seeing the old pictures of Brooklynn. It makes me so excited to take Carter to WDW as he gets older. His first trip was in January and he was 5.5 months old, he didn't do much but sleep in his stroller, when we go in Sept, he will be 13 months old--I'm anxious to see how he reacts to everything.

I'm excited you guys are staying at WL, we've stayed there 2 or 3 times (we go to WDW too much--I've lost count where we have stayed and how many times we've been to each resort! ) and we love it. Stephen (my DH) and I also do what you guys are doing--we usually stay most of the week at either value or DVC and then then last 2 nights we stay deluxe. That way we get to stay at lots of resorts, we have something to look forward to at the end of vacation and we aren't in the poor house!

Jill--good luck as you go back to work, I know how hard it is to juggle everything. Luckily you are able to see your girls throughout the day. We are really close to me being able to stay home full time with Carter--I can't wait!!

Oh, and we might be at the Poly Christmas meet too. Right now we are booked at the Pop for 12/31-1/11 and we were planning on watching the NYE fireworks from the Poly anyway. There is a chance that we might drop the 12/31 and just fly down on 1/1, but for now we're booked. Either way, we might run into you guys at the Pop.

As far as I know, we plan to just stake out a spot ont he beach like we did for Fourth of July. We'll just spread out a blanket or towels or something and get some CS food to eat while we wait.

Jill does work at a childcare center. Probably shouldn't say the name, just to be safe. She enjoys her work, and she's very good at it.

I think starting a thread on it is a great idea, then we can easily hash out times to meet/details/questions/and have other DISers aware. Do you want to do that? If not, I can.

I'm good with the blanket/towel/CS plan-that is kinda what we were thinkin' too.

I've got to get moving on Chapters 7-8-9 of my class next week, and then try to do 10-11-12 the next week. The rest will have to wait until I get back from Florida.

These four weeks of summer school have gone by quickly. I'm in a hurry for vacation, but I also have to go back to work as soon as it's over with just a one day break, so I'm not that anxious.

You can go ahead and make an open invitation wherever you want. You'd be better at that than I would, and casual it is. Just all sprawled out on beach towels with munchies waiting for awesome fireworks. Some of us will probably need to be there several hours ahead of time and take shifts holding our spot so that no one has to sit in one place all night. It will be so crowded and crazy!

Maybe you and Lauren can meet in September, but if not, hopefully everyone will be there NYE.
