Has anyone seen this yet? I want to go this weekend...

I have been looking forward to this movie all year and now that it is here and I have to work both jobs today, grrr!

If there is a late showing I'm there. Ang Lee has made some of the most stunning movies of all time including my favorite "Sense and Sensibility"

Set in the 60's, but is probably incredibly relevant for today, can't wait! Plus Jake Gyllenhaal is smokin'

It opened in our small little indy theater today, and I have free passes! I can't wait!

I want to see this also.. I saw the coming attractions, it looks good.

And Anne Hathaway princess: is in this film. Even though I think of her as a "princess", it is good to see she is developing as a fine actress.

Anyone going soon, please let me know how it was. I would like to see this movie also, but will not pay $10.00 at the theater if is no good.

I work at the local theatre and plan to see it, it's getting incredible reviews. Lots of Oscar buzz. Plus Heath and Jake what a pair!!!

It's getting incredible reviews from just about everyone. The Oscar talk is already starting. Glad there hasn't been much protesting from the anti-gay groups, at least not yet anyway. This could actually be a watershed movie in many ways.

I want to see it too but DH doesn't. I need to ask a girlfriend to go. Anyone that goes post back and let us know how it is.

It's marvelous, with a great performance at its core by Heath Ledger and a smaller but no less memorable one by Jake Gyllenhaal. It was perhaps too infatuated with repression, but that's criticizing the short story on which the film is based.

I am gonna have to wait until it comes to video, I can't find anyone to go with me.

I took my wife to see it this past weekend. Excellent performances. Some of the love scenes between the 2 men made me a bit uncomfortable, but I enjoyed the film.

Love scene with two men, mark that one off my list of must see movies! :scared:

:rotfl: You got that right! I will skip it too. :rolleyes1

I'd really like to see it too. Love scene with two men wouldn't bother me at all. I'd rather watch a love scene with two men than watch them kill each other!

Well, that's your loss then.

I am looking forward to seeing it. :)

I don't know - I didn't feel at all uneasy watching Rambo shoot someone.

I was especially moved when he destroyed an entire police force, was dipped in pig glop, and mock-crucified.
