Or that was the funny joke my oh so dear hubby made when I called with the results of my latest round of medical tests.
Just some background, I've been having some pretty serious hip pain for the last couple of months, and have seen a few different doctors and PTs etc. No real positive diagnosis
Well, finally after an MRI and a series of back X-rays, I literally have a broken back! Well, a small fracture in my lowest vertabrae, and that MIGHT be what is causing my pain. I still need a bone scan because there still might be some issue in my hip that didn't show up on the MRI!
Anyway, so DH is now calling me Broke back Bekki, which is hillarous
But also, does anyone have experiance with spondylolisthesis, because that's what the doctor is initally calling the problem. Doc was not too optimistic about any sort of treatment, beyond pain management, but I also don't really trust her that much. She seems to rely on anecdotal evidence, whcih seems a little weird
So, any ideas or stories?
Just as an aside, we heard that DH will be able to keep his job and work remotly, even though we're moving out of state! That is a HUGE relief. CA salary, WA housing prices--it's a good thing
