Broad walk grand villas

Here's a map done by Shamus showing room numbers.

You should not request close to elevator. All the GV's are in the same area, making it pointless to use an area request for one. They are not close to the elevator, but not real far either. The best request to make for one is to ask for a single story GV (four of the six are single story) which gives you a huge combined living room, dining room and kitchen area.

You should note that the BWV GV's should be reserved at 11 months out to assure getting one and they very often difficult to get at 7 months out.

We have had BW GVs on the 3rd floor. There are stairways which are very convenient.

I have twice gotten the 2 story GV (made no requests). The one thing I didn't like was the first bedroom on the second floor has a "balcony" that overlooks the living room. I swear there is no drape on that door, maybe just a sheer? Anyway, people coming up the stair can see right in that room.

One thing to be aware of is that there are not many of them and they tend to book quickly. Don't count on being able to use points at seven months from them, you'll want to use BWV points and book early. We snagged the last one for August - and I was only a week late in calling.

You are correct that there isn't anything over the balcony window. We called the front desk and they sent someone up who installed sheers and drapes. DH asked how often they had to do that and was told never. Also informed DH that they would be removing the sheers and drapes when we left. I wonder if they did?
