I agree with most of what everyone has said.
The thing that I disagree with that some of you mentioned is the fact that she should be able to change her mind about the sex thing. My problem is that she never should have mentioned the sex stuff to begin with, it's a private matter, just like her breasts and belly are, but as we know Britney seems to like to show off and use these tools to her advantage. That being said, it was fine for her to go along with it several years ago because it SOLD her albums. Now that she has sold all of those albums, she's decided that she has changed and grown, and people should just leave her alone. Sure she was young, and she might have even believed in staying a virgin, but it wasn't anyone's business to begin with - but she made it a big deal by making a pledge and encouraging other young girls to do the same because it won her fans, and as we know, fans = money.
In regards to her being a star, she chose that lifestyle, and must therefore deal with the consequences of being in the public eye all the time. I think that it must be tough to be Britney, but most of that is her own doing. Remember the whole Kathie Lee Gifford thing? She used her children to make her star shine, and then when people started to criticize her not so perfect life, she backlashed at them. I guess she forgot that she started the whole thing? The same thing is happening with Britney. Unfortunately Britney was young and impressionable and had hardly any say in how she was marketed, and that is why she is standing up for herself. But my point still stands, she let all of this happen because it made her famous and sold tons of merchandise, so I disagree with the fact that she is allowed to change her mind now. I don't think that it's about changing her mind at all. I think that it's about, I've made tons of money, and I'm world famous, so I don't have to lie and market myself as something that I'm not any longer, because if people don't like it, too bad since I've already made millions of dollars off of them anyway. Just my humble opinion.
