Reading the fact of the day, which was "100 days from today we will be at Disney!"

Doesn't he look all excited!

And on a side note, I hear Shelby scream this morning & then total silence. So I decided to go check on her, thank God I did! She was in the laundry room! Little Miss climbed out of her crib!!!! Just 1 day shy of 11 months old!

:dancer: :dancer: 100 days! :dancer: :dancer:
Girl you should like you have your hands full with that little girl (were your boys into everything like that?!?) I hope you have a backpack harness to bring along with you...she should be walking really well in 100 days :scared:

Have a great day!

No, my boys were nothing like her! She's been walking since she was 7 month old, so she'll probably be running to Mickey when we get there!

I don't have one, but I want to get one. Ben said that I am not allowed to put his daughter on a leash :rotfl:. I just tell him "We'll see"

Kohl's had the minnie and mickey online only...the price was not bad either.
I never ever thought I would use one but with Ashton he scared me pretty good when he was 16 mo old in a store (he moved just fast that I did not know which way he went--scary when they really can't talk) and again for Gustav we were in a small town in AL. I thought he was with Danny, Danny thought he was with my parents, and they thought I had him...needless to say he was running down the sidwalk out of the hotel...he never left MY SIGHT the rest of the weekend...I still don't let my daughter or mom take him out much

BTW he loves his monkey backpack! we both hold the tail while we walk through crowds, stores, parking lots, etc...

Well today was, HELL, to put it mildly. I have no clue what got into Shelby, but apparently she got a case of the busy hands & was into everything! The garbage, the cabinets, the dvds. You name it, she got into it. The only reason she didn't dig in the toilet is because I have a gate blocking the hallway.
Then Koby comes home with the worst attitude known to man. He's already grounded from the computer & ps2 for 5 weeks for his attitude & smart mouth. Well, apparently, he could have cared less today. I told him he's now grounded for 6 months. I give up. I don't know what to do with that kid anymore. Next step is no Disney trip for him. I don't care if it's his birthday or not. I can't deal with this anymore.
Shelby was whiny & clingy & neither one of the boys wanted to take her & play with her so I could go to the bathroom. Ben had to work 2 hrs late (he's on salary & does not get paid extra for working late). I was NOT a happy mommy. If you are on my FB, you know by my status updates.
Here's to praying tomorrow is much smoother!

I hear you on the hands thing!!! My DS (17 months) is horrible about touching and grabbing (and running away with) everything!!! I also feel your pain on the bathroom issue- I don't think I have peed by myself in ages! DS always goes with me- to the point he wants to shove toilet paper in the toilet when I am...... oi!
And also on the mouthy kid! My DD9 has the attitude of a 13 year old... ugh! She drives me nuts some days... but I love her anyways.
Hope you have a better day!

Today was better, minus this:

I feel like I've missed so much! :sad2:

All of the decorations for Shelby's party are so cute! I especially love the throne high chair! :lovestruc

Sorry you've had a rough time with the kiddos lately :guilty: I hope you have some peaceful days ahead! But at least you're getting closer and closer to your trip - that should make you feel a little better! :goodvibes

It's been a rough few days, but knowing Disney is right there keeps my sanity lol

:banana::cheer2::dance3:Yeah for 100 Days!

Shelby sounds like my Colby! He is only 10 months and I have not seen him try to climb out of his crib yet...but I am sure with another month...but his newest discovery is the stairs. He climbs up a couple stairs and then turns around and tries to just step off...

One of my friends got a tent thing to put over her son's crib because he was climbing out. It worked for her!

WoW! Davy still hasn't climbed out of his crib! I don't think it has dawned on him that he could get out on his own.... hopefully it stays that way. That would freak me out! Finding him walking around when I thought he was in his crib.

As for the kid leash- might be a good idea. We didn't do last trip, and yes- he could run at that point- but he is good about staying in his stroller for the most part. This trip though, you better believe that little monkey boy will have a monkey on his back with a rope back to mommy! :rotfl: He now hauls butt and keeps going! Sigh......

We dropped her mattress to the lowest level & so far so good. My baby girl is 11 months old now. How did that happen? Anyone have a pause button so I just freeze time for a little while?

Here is my big 11 month old baby girl:

Well, today, we went to the mall & guess who was there? The Easter Bunny! So of course we had to go get pics of Shelby with him! I put her down, held her hand & she walked right up to him with a smile on her face & giggling! Yep, this girl will have no problems meeting characters at Disney.

Great bunny picture! Happy to hear she will not have a character problem, you guys are going to have a blast with her and the characters! :mickeyjum; Ashton has always done well with the characters and other's like Santa, Easter Bunny, etc.
also, happy to hear that she is doing better since you dropped the mattress.

Great Easter bunny picture. It's good that you're getting to "test" Shelby to see whether or not she's going to be afraid of the characters.

I never had problems with the boys when it came to Santa or the Easter Bunny & when we went to Disney Koby was 6 & Brady was 4, so they were older & I never thought twice about them freaking out. Now that I'm going with a baby, I read the stories here on DS of how badly some of the little ones were scared. After Shelby meeting the Easter Bunny, I'm convinced that she will be all smiles when she meets the characters!

cute birthday items! So sorry you have had a rough couple days. Things are not going so smoothly with DD at the moment either--whew, three is a tough age (at least for us). :yay: for Shelby not being afraid of the characters!! Such a great thing. I sure hope DD goes up to them willingly (she says she wants to give them a big squeeze aka hug) every so often.

Davy had a blast with all the characters at Disney as you say in the TR, but guess who freaked out yesterday with the Easter bunny? :confused3 Sigh... hoping he is OK at Disney come July. I think he will be- he loves Mickey and how often do you really see a bunny that big? :rotfl: He sees Mickey almost everyday.

Hope yours does well too! She is really cute! :cutie:
