I read somewhere a while back that it is ok to bring say a case of water bottles and some beer aboard. Does this have to be packed away in a bag/suitcase, or can it just be brought up with our luggage? Thanks!

All beverages have to be carried on. We brought a whole case of water and a rolling cooler bag filled with cans of beer and some pop:thumbsup2

We just did this for our Carnival Cruise. We did a pre night at BWVs and had gardengrocer send 2 cases of water and a 24 pack of diet coke.
It, too, had to be carried in our carryon, which worked fine, although a little heavy.

We will be driving next year for our Dream cruise and will also want to bring on soda, water and beer. Can you please let me know does the beer have to be in plastic bottles or can it be carried on in glass bottles?

Thank you all.

Disney forbids glass beverages from your checked luggage. So you have to carry on glass. The idea is if you have glass in your suitcase it could break and spill over other guests suitcases.

They don't care what you carry on, be it beer, liqour or bottles of wine.
