It just dawned on me that when we are going to rent a movie for our notebook on an upcoming flight there might be kids in eyeshot of the screen (it's a rather large screen
). I don't have a problem with many "G" rated films, but I don't exactly want to be tied down to those exclusively when making a selection. I also don't plan on renting any gore or porn either. What about those middle of the road films? Would you have a serious problem if your young kid was behind someone on a flight in eyeshot of a PG13 film?
What type of thing is appropriate and what is not? Some of this would seem to be common sense, but I don't know what the person behind me might freak out about
Example: We don't have any issues with guns, but someone might forbid their kid to see that sort of thing, and I really don't want to ruin anyone's flight over something trivial like this.
