Brides/grooms make sure you eat one slice of cake. Maybe not during the reception, but make sure some one saves you slices for later. I know too many brides who only got that one bite. :guilty:

I've also been told that no matter how much you wrap it, it will NOT taste good on your 1 year anniversary, so be sure to eat it on the wedding day. You can bet that I will be eating mine! :)

Yeah, i'm one of those that only got one bite :( But it was a very good bite :)

i too was one of the brides who only got one bite, i did eat a peice on my one year, it tasted pretty good still which i was pretty amazed by.

We ate a piece of our cake and then 2 days later we ate most of the top of the cake. We didn't want to save it and eat it on our anniversary. Many of my friends said that when they ate the cake on their anniversary it tasted bad and now that is what they remember about their cake. I wanted to remember how wonderful it was so we didn't save it. We ate it in our room a couple of days later...just the two of us. We were able to enjoy every bite of cake. At our reception we kind of ate fast so we could get up to talk to people.

Proof we ate the cake:

We are really classy eating our cake in bed out of the book.... ha ha. It was so good and fun! We ate as much as we could and then threw it away.

Not only did we eat our cake while we were there for the wedding, I had it replicated (smaller version) while we were there for our second anniversary this year. It was just as scrumptious as I remember the original being!!! (Marble cake w/ white chocolate icing - YUMMY!!!)

Oh my goodness! Not eat cake :lmao: I am so sorry to those who only got one bite! I could not imagine not eating my wedding cake. I am looking forward to that more than any other food at my wedding. I am looking forward to tasting it all during my planning session next month :cloud9:

I only managed a few bites. I absolutely love cake but just could not eat that day.
It was definately the best cake I ever tasted though.
The Yacht club kept it in their fridge and we shared it out with some cast members and the rest of our wedding party the next day.
