Breyers new Carb Smart Icecream!!

Has anyone tried this yet?? I just bought 2 half gallons-vanilla and chocolate. The stuff is GREAT!! It has 4 net carbs per serving. Got it on sale at Meijer this week for 2.70 (reg 4.99)

Just wondered if anyone has tried it....and if not, give it a try!!!

Nope haven't been brave enough to try it. I'm not certain that I could honestly get 16 servings out of that box! I'd probably eath 1/2 the box at a time and end up with 32 carbs instead of the intented 4!

I've gotten the Klondike Carb Smart bars though and they are terrific! I like have the pre-packaged individual serving sizes much better.

It is fantastic...my son (new diabetic) loves it he gets more bang for his carb counts...I've also approved it....they did a really good job..

I would, except they make it with high fructose corn syrup! No way I'm eating pure sugar when there's better alternatives (and EXCELLENT homemade!) out there to be had.

We haven't tried the Breyer's, but we love the Blue Bunny Sweet Freedom items.

I'm with dizneegirl, high fructose corn syrup is out of the question for me. My low-carb way of eating means no sugar...so this ice cream won't work for me. But I'm thrilled to see more companies investing in LC products...it's a step in the right direction.

Even the "no sugar added" varieties that are sweetened with Splenda still have a whopping 110 calories in a measly half-cup serving. I bought some awhile back and although it was good I ate too much. Won't make that mistake again.

I love it...My DH and I really enjoy it...I have yet to try the chocolate kind though. I also want to try the Klondike bars too
