Why does Sunny need the vet?

If you don't know, she is my problem child. We found her in the desert behind an old friend's apartment, she was a feral cat, but was friendly, so we took her home. Soon after she showed signs of Cerebellar Hypoplasia, but we didn't know what it was. She got an MRI, a Spinal Tap and $1600 later we had no answers.

Then a neighbor of mine was reading Woman's Day and found an article about a cat with similar symptoms, and we got a name for it. Turns out lots of feral cats have it. Then about a year or so ago, I was also informed that many feral cats a form of the Herpes virus which causes them to have more frequent infections.

Right now, she's got this cold with sneezing and wheezing. She's had it since we got Mac, because I took of them to the vet together last month. The Doctor suggested that two or three times a day we put her in a cat carrier and cover it with a towel, then put a vaporizer outside and let the steam fill the cat carrier. Sort of her own little steam room.

Because she has this herpes virus it will make it harder for her to recover, but there isn't really much medicine we can give her other than something called Viralys, twice a day. This helps to subdue the herpes virus which will allow her to heal.

So DBF and I broke up today. It was a mutual, amicable decision, and we're still going to be friends.

It came up a couple weeks ago that he has no intentions of ever getting married or having kids (there's a long, long, LONG history of divorce in his family), whereas I want to get married and have babies someday. We also have other things that make us incompatible, which I don't feel comfortable posting about here. So today we went to see The Muppets (which we both loved) and got ice cream and had a discussion about the fact that this just isn't going to work. We're still going to be friends, though.

Well, it seemed to work after the movie We had the discussion when we parked outside of Coldstone, before we went in. We also played Scrabble online when I got home. I really think it'll work out with us just being friends.

We are supposed to get some nasty winds in the next couple days, but hopefully they will bypass long beach, they usually do. I hope by the time we meet weather is good, what are your days again? I will put them in my new phone, I remember they were good when you mentioned them.

Stupid connection with the DIS. My computer showed my response trying to post, I came back 20 minutes later and it was still trying. Then it post twice 15 minutes apart.

In the meantime I got some posts actually posted on other thread. Why not the LTP thread. Maybe webmaster Alex is using this thread to test migrating threads to the new servers.

I don't think you were the only one with twilight zone issues. There seemed to be at least 3 posts where I thought I was seeing double!!

It's definitely for the best. This just wasn't going to work out long-term, and we're both looking for long-term. He just wants non-marriage long-term I have some, but not as much as I did when one of my exes and I broke up. It ended on good terms.
